Foxchase Manor is an attempt at a 'realistic' player home.
Ported to SE from my original Skyrim mod..
It is situated near Whiterun by Redorans retreat.

Looking through all the player homes on Nexus none of them seem 'home-like' enough for me. Either they are huge castles or little cottages or the 'Lore' has been mutilated.
So, no huge 'Trophy Room stuffed with rows and rows of display cases and weapon racks mannequins etc. This is a home rather than a museum, somewhere that has been there for years and years slowly maturing.
One Mod I did like was 'Lances Expanded Whitewatch' I liked the idea of a location re-used for a different purpose many years after the builders had abandoned it so the Manor is situated within the walls of a long abandoned fort.

A Curtain Wall, tower and lookouts, main gates, main hall, kitchen, staff quarters and a realistic number of bedrooms.
In the cellars a crafting area with smithing, enchanting and alchemical facilities.
There is a small display room a brewery and a relaxing 'club' for the guards and staff.
In the grounds a Guardhouse with it's own access to the cellars. Staff consists of a Cook, Housekeeper, several guards plus a Dog.

All containers in the Manor and basement are player owned and non respawning so they are safe storage.

In the village is a blacksmith, trader and bakery selling food, the Inn has a room to rent and a Bard to sing and play for you.
Several farmhouses with the appropriate NPCs flesh out the village.
This latest version has one of the rooms converted in to a children's room to allow your adopted family to move in if it is used alongside  TMPhoenix's  excellent Hearthfire Multiple Adoptions mod Will also recognise a marriage, This is not a dependency for Foxchase and doesn't need to be installed to use this mod.
Map marker shows as a Town.

Latest version has new NPC AI, Reworked manor interior, revised Navmesh.
A lot of the individual clutter items have been replaced with statics and collections from various resources available on the Nexus alongside some custom assets for everyday items that add a bit of individuality.

Current version1.12a seems to be OK, can't see anything missing or not working as intended.
If anyone spots anything let me knoe.

I need to thank some other Modders for the amazing assets I have used. Their wonderful work saves so much time placing clutter and adds a nice variety to the place. Oaristys, Jokerine, Willybach Jet, LWatson95, Leodoidao, Elianora, Artisanix, EvilEyedKyo, KhrysINXS, and Stroti.
Also incorporated the brilliant Immersive Laundry and the meshes and textures by InsanitySorrow.
I am grateful for the work they have done to make a modders job easier, we stand on the shoulders of giants.
