I would love to see what you would do with imperial stone since the original is open permissions. imperial stone and this mod together makes snowhawk a huge ruined city. I use both in my shattered playthrough
I really like this mod. From the layout of the town to the Oblivion gates, it feels like a hold capital that's been abandoned for 200 years. I endorsed the mod, but the amount of spiders is too much imo. There's like 20+ spiders and at least 4-5 big ones and they ALL aggro and attack/move around. I was fighting against framerate drops as much as I was against the spiders. After they were all dead framerates picked back up to normal. Idk maybe it's just me.
Also, I like how the ruins connect up to Fort Snowhawk but if it's going to be populated with enemies maybe separate the two somehow? Like those destructible barricades in front of forts or something.
Glad you enjoy it. You're right about the spiders. It was intended to be a significant challenge, but I must admit that I've personally been unable to defeat them on Legendary mode without at least three followers, or dragging some back to Morthal for help from the guards there.
That being said, I quite like that there are so many spiders, so I might not reduce their numbers. Instead, I may make an indoor dungeon/cell under the Mages Guild ruins, where the mother (I can't remember her name) and the larger spiders live. The surface will then only be populated with the much smaller rabid variety.
Of course, If I start making indoor cells, I may have to remove the ESL flag, as the mod will be too big. This could cause problems with peoples load orders. Still, I'll see if I can't find a compromise that keeps/makes the Fort fun.
Could you remove the requirements for the original one in the Nexus description though? I encountered bugs before realising you wrote it was a standalone now :D
I found that the Snowhawk expanded mod pairs really well with The Marshlands mod and Skyrim Underground which adds in a sunken and collapsed part of the city. There's also a journal that ties the King of Snowhawk to Mannimarco.
Really cool mod! The only issue I have with it is that apperantly it causes some minor incompatibilities with Northern Roads. Would really appreciate it if someone made a patch
Making patches is not really my forté and I don't use Northern Roads personally. That being said, I did load it up in the Creation Kit. The only glaring incompatibility I could see was a single piece of road where the edges didn't match up properly. Was there anything else you found?
As If that's all, I could try and make a basic patch, covering up the seams with greenery. It won't look perfect, but at least the holes would be covered.
Thank you! I was thinking about putting in some daedra from Saints and Seducers, or Beyond Skyrim Bruma, but not everyone uses those mods/CC, so I put in some spiders instead.

Great mod overall.

Good Point about the description. I'll do that now.
