Many fixes can be worked on this mod, but the original author's last update was the initial upload and it was in 2014, so I don't think we are getting any updates on this one. This mod is the best and most essential for a necromancer build. Nothing tops this mod. But, the changes I would like to see are -
1. Fix the crosshair and actual targeting area bug (The spell doesn't hit the crosshair location.) 2. Fix the quest "No One Escapes Cidhna Mine" (If you have dead thralls with you and enter the cidhna mine during the quest, after returning from the mine the dead thralls die and disappear.) 3. Fix the thralls not teleporting with you into a main hold. 4. Fix the issues while thralling boss NPCs like the ebony warrior. (Boss NPCs disappear after some time, so even if you thrall them they will disappear after some time.) 5. Some named NPCs (like the vampires of the Volkihar Castle) want to keep their original clothing even after changing their armor. 6. Cant assign thralls combat style, even after giving them a sword they still use weak-ass magic.
i really like this mod have been using it for years, one of my favorite ones.
what i'd like to see is :
(1) single handed casting. (2) better targeting, that dual hand casting is sometimes hard to hit a target right directly in front of the character. its not really a linear point and click like a firebolt. its kind of annoying. would rather just aim at the ground and have it raise whatever is close. or have a more accurate means of targeting something. (3) version where i can target a single unit or a group of units in an area. yes i want to click 1 button and raise up 5-10 thralls after a bloody combat. i think that would be convenient.
There is a single handed casting mod for master spells called One Handed Master Spells although with this mod it works on off hand and not main hand. Main hand will do the normal animation but you will be stuck in that animation until you move or jump.
Unfortunately I am having an issue with the mod! When entering an interior (regardless of where) my thralls don't come with! I've tried using the power to summon them all but what happens is it just shows the quest makers floating around me. They are definitely there in some way as I can't walk directly through the space the quest marker is floating above. No option to interact with anything pops up, attacking the space does nothing, etc etc. Deanimating them just has the quest markers dissappear and no bodies appear. I've also tried placing this at the bottom of my load order which didn't help, it actually caused me to longer be able to access other followers inventories after doing so. Any help is appreciated because I love the idea of this mod!
Странно, но подобной проблемы нет, играю с двумя thralls, ни каких проблем с ними нет. Да, есть локации при первом посещении которых thralls будут деактивированы ( например, первое посещение замка Волкихар, маркер будет показывать в пустое место (до входа в замок thralls нужно деактивировать самому, их трупы никуда не денутся) или чтение древних свитков, локация лунных часов замка, вызов Дюрневира и т.д. так же, thralls будут деактивированы игрой принудительно). Лично я записываю ID моих thralls и в случае пропажи/проваливания сквозь текстуры, использую команды: PRID ID (thrall) и MOVETO PLAYER При первом посещении Солстейма, thralls так же часто проваливаются в текстуры и опять спасают эти команды...Даже без этой модификации, в оригинальной игре, thralls так же пропадают, деактивируются и проваливаются в текстуры! Это проблема скорее SSE, чем модификации, хотя могу и ошибаться)
I simply converted this mod so it would work in Skyrim SE, I don't own it or have any rights to modify it. It was working when I first released it, if its broken now then its due to game updates and they are unlikely to get resolved as the original author appears to have abandoned it.

You see, after some times, or from a cleanup script, the game might "disable" your thrall (usually because it's generic corpses, or bosses, Miraak for example) to clean up the corpse, and so you are left with a marker.
The corpse is still there, but disabled.
You need to turn up console command, find the corpse and "enable" it
Not used this mod or played Skyrim for ages... this was also just a pure port+minor fixes to get it working for Special Edition. So if its currently broken I won't be fixing it as I was not the original creator.
my thralls always seem to die whenever i try to summon something else i.e. an atronach, staada, high seeker, etc. are there any solutions to this? edit: they also die whenever i use the call of valor shout
You have limit of summoned minions, including atronach the default is 1. if you master your conjuration perks you can get 2. Artifacts and perks mods like ordinator can give you more than 2.

i download Dead Thrall Overhaul
as a base mod to work with,
it has dead thrall set up for single handed casting
its set up to cast an area radius dead thrall dual casting
i tweaked the parameters out to my liking, works perfectly fine,
its a masterpiece
