It doesn't. Maybe in some situations. If you look at the screenshots, the before and after, there are two that may seem more vibrant because the sky is brighter and the shadows are stronger. In all other screenshots, I don't think so. More like sharper and darker.
I was trying ray tracing shader with light bouncing features, the main issue I had with it is that it barely does anything bloom can't do, lol. It's probably a bit more accurate but wasn't giving me the results I wanted.
