Can I please get permission for someone to port your mod to Playstation on Bethesda.net?

There are mods that reduce ward cost or increase magnitude, but none that do both or reduce charge time. Would love to have this amazing mod available for PS users. Thank you!

Is this the mod that lets you cast flesh spells and they will be applied to followers and NPCS close by?

it would be nice if ward strength scales with characters restoration level or base magicka...  i mean, like for example ...for every 20 base magicka starting from 100, the hit points of greater ward will increase by 10 per 20 base magicka outside of that 100. the mod is amazing though but on hard core plays... dragons just literally breaks that 100 ward hit points, because of their breath attack that goes of to 150-300 dmg

Thought I would mention that this mod actually nerfs Wards, the master ward won't worrk with it installed. had to clean my game to get wards working again.

For one, there is no master ward spell. Are you talking about Greater Ward?

Can you give some more detail about how it nerfs wards? What actual behavior of the ward changes with this mod installed?

He probably meant the "ward master" perk rename you did.

can you just make wards only consume magicka = 50% of spell cost?

Unfortunately I've gotten very busy working on my own games and I'm no longer taking requests.

so i opened this in xEdit and ripped most of the guts out - everything except the GSMT about faster charging, and now it is mergable into a bashed patch, albeit without the everything else. thanks a ton ;D

I'm yet to test this mod on my own, but it definitely deserves much more attention than it gets. But I think the reason for this is just that most of Skyrim players just gave up on wards as the are in vanilla. My first ever character in Skyrim back in 2011 was a mage, and though I was new to the game (but very well familiar with TES games) I figured our very soon how useless wards are. Even with large manapool you feed like you wasting time, because you could use all that mana for a several fireballs and just dodge incoming spells. I hope this mod will solve this crap, cause I want to play with wards this time.

    Thank you for your efforts!

      Does this effect NPCS?

@sajedbadir Yes, but NPCs can't stagger your physical attacks with their wards. The charge speed increase, magnitude increase, and ward absorb perk buff all affect NPCs.

Is there a way to lower the stagger chance? I'd like to have the chance to do so but do not care for how likely it can occur. Especially since it scales

In my next version, when I get around to it, I plan to add a MCM where you can configure things like the stagger chance and the charge speed. However I have a lot on my plate right now so I don't know when I'll be making it.

In the meantime if you care to learn how to edit Papyrus scripts, you can change the stagger chance. I't not rocket science, but it's time-consuming for me to maintain so many versions.
