NO since we both use the same texture slots , you have to pick between one blood texture style or another
Enhanced Blood Textures = ESSENTIAL / CORE.esp (plugin) that modifies and overhauls the amount of decals represented in real time, adds 6 new slots (vanilla had 2 or 3 texture slots), adds bloodpool, bleeding and instant damage mechanics ...appart from that, the author also included his personal taste of blood texture style .
Maximum Carnage = .esp (plugin) that adds dismemberment features (Highly reccommended, RnT was made for it while using EBT's plugin)
Sanguine / Rip n Tear = Blood textures (different texture styles, same texture slots, not compatible)
IN CASE you are using "Reduced Splatter Size .esp" from "dD - Enhanced Blood Textures" in "plugins" (Vortex) , make sure to DISABLE it in order to avoid crashes or conflicts. That extra .esp isn't needed
This adds a lot to the aesthetic of EBT and Maximum Carnage. I really dig it! Would you consider a desaturated version in the future for non-Reshade users?
But asking me to desaturate every decal again is something I wont do since its a boring process and there is already a Reshade tool that lets you adjust in real time any Red colour tone from blood : prod_selectivecolourV2 > Reds> Cyan /Black /SATURATION/ Lightness... for a 0,3 fps loss, dont be afraid to explore, play with it!
I really like the Bethesda blood style, however i found that the blood is in very little quantity compared to original ebt, is there a way to increase the blood?
I was thinking in replaying Skyrim during the next months so i will probably do a new version like you said for the bethesda blood and probably bring a 4th variation too, i appreciate your comment take care
Actually they released a new superior framework to ebt called Sanguine Symphony, It would be great if you could port this there, specially the vanilla like textures, I'm simply a purist for the vanilla artstyle lol.
Wow marrano, i just checked Sanguine Symphony by Seb263 bloodmod page and it looks so tasty and classy. I will absolutely check it whenever I return to Skyrim
I must beat Elden Ring DLC 1st but im so adicted to invading that i barely continue the main quest whenever I log in to Elden. As soon as I beat the DLC and im done with ER i will return to Skyrim (Still have to beat it too...) He absolutetly aimed for that Fallout3/Bethesda goofy feel and he nailed it. They look very High Quality and a lot of effort and passion has been put into the decals believe me, they lookk gorgeous
I also reconsidered in creating new decals or adding meat chunks to his original mod. i could do a Bethesda blood with his framework project if he allows me to publish and credit his mod with my decals. He has some blood drips that i would love to use for a Bethesda mixed version
I have a very strange relationship with this game, throughout these years i've developed like a "restarting syndrome" where i keep reseting my adventure over and over again.
Do you guys have the same problem? Its like ... I swear i spend days and days making Skyrim beautiful and very immersive, but there is always something else clickin in my head tellin me to install another mod, or even start modding myself, or even.... search for 4k bread and 4k lettuces...
I know its sad and pathetic, i hope this year i finally start enjoying this game
Wanna know what is even worse? Bought Skyrim (Oldrim) when i was 18 years old upon release , i'm 33 years old now and still haven't managed to beat the main quest, haven't made it any further than Graybeard's meeting. Everybody i know has beaten the game in vanilla...
At this point i dont know if im trying to replicate a Dejavu or an essence of nostalgia that already went away without me knowing it...
Been playing since Legendary Edition when I was at high school. Make a return to Special Edition when I was going to university. Now I have a 9-5 job and currently modding Anniversary Edition. Still haven't get past Greybeards meeting in all those years. I've watched countless Skyrim videos on YouTube while thinking, "someday I'll watch this scene live in-game." A man can dream, right?
Damn right! But hey im glad we think the same, it has become like a 2nd home for us.
Now I promised myself to stick with the same profile, started as an ordinary woodcutter , maximizing money and speechraft and buying as much books as i can with Books of Skyrim SE to finally immerse myself into the lore , then after reading all of them (thats the exausting part) i want my character to be some kind of Don Quixote where, after reading so many medieval books, he goes crazy and desperately wants to go out of Solitude (my starting point) . Since i never liked how we are forced to be a Dragonborn , im trying to make it like he is allucinating all of these events related with dragons in the same way Cervantes made Quixote start his journey.
I'mma be real I've never finished the MSQ once and I don't really feel bad about it, most of the fun of Skyrim is what you make of it, I see it as a nice enjoyable world to inhabit, it's almost like a living zen garden. It sort of fails as an RPG but it works as whatever you make of it.
I think modding can never really end until you silence that little voice in your head telling you to fix something. For me today it was 'Skeletons are too easy to fight can I make them use advanced MCO movesets' the answer was 'yes but not the modded ones'... I take what I can get
in 1000+hours of skyrim I never had this bug weird, it only bug when being close, form afar it looks normal, I've read multiple thing online about bug with bash patch (I don't have one yet) or enb .. but I can't figure it out
Ah yes this one , im pretty sure what is causing it.
ENBs are not the cause, it has to be a plugin that alters the original shape. This looks like you picked the "dD-Large Splatter Size.esp" variation. My bet is that during EBT installation, u know there are some extra plugins such as "dDLargeSplatteredSize.esp", 100% sure this is altering the shape of my textures
Disable " dD-Large Splatter Size.esp" FROM Plug-ins Vortex
There is an engine bug when applying decals on high-poly models that cause odd blood splatter, all though I've not seen it this bad, like a big square.
I made a post over at EBT in June, this is what I typically see using EBT.
Hoboken90 are your decals changing EBT's decals so there aren't any more blood splatters with straight line/edges like my screen shot, and they all look more realistic?
Well more than a bug, thats just how the "engine" redistributes the decals based on the nature of the surface surrounding, let me explain better: When skyrim was developed , splatters where only meant to be projected on flat surfaces and walls since there was no EBT intended to exists.
This means that the developer who programmed the script/plugin related to the chances of splashes to appear on polygonal 3D objects set it to 0 or maybe even merged the rock texture with the mesh texture within so that no other external texture collapses over the 3D rocks.
Thats the same phenomenom we can measure when we kill an enemy/npc on the roads while using "Blended Roads 3d" mod o stuff like that u know, you will notice that depending on the angle blood blends behind or over some surfaces, its the same thing.
Because most of us are using Surface/grass/Terrain mods, then we get a inverted effect sometimes because now the game starts reading 2 files and cannot overwrite one new texture over other pre rendered ones , because there is no script or plugin to help that.
This looks great, for me EBT's blood is huge (even while using the smaller splatters version) I even made my own take on it, but I really love yours. I have "new" Skyrim (Anniversary Edition) on my PC, but I play Oldrim (Legendary Edition) on my laptop when I'm not home... could this be used in it? Or it needs to be converted? I guess you don't have Oldrim so you probably can't do it? I'm using "Bethesda blood" so I would only need that version.
Hey glad you liked it! Really appreciate that. Yeah i think that the key and solution is always in diversity and variation, to have different options to choose from so that everyone finds their own particular style. I will work on a 3rd variation for this Christmas whenever i have time to expand the library page
It will work on any version since its only a texture pack that uses .dds files and ALL versions of Skyrim use .dds files for textures still so it will be all good
YES, my Rip n Tear is only a texture blood collection for Enhanced Blood Textures, its just a different style of decals, so it should work with dismemberment plugins
Yeah sorry for so many updates, I gotta be humble and admit that I dont enjoy double checking or fixing things as much as creating them , its the most boring part of the process and i usually try to do it fast , hence the reason why I've been quite annoying lately with several updates related to minor details .
Now all versions received the proper attention and i gotta say that now im quite happy with all the results

Maximum Carnage and the Slash FX are not core

anyone had that issue ?
If you have any photo would help a lot

So there is no solution to this as of yet, or is anyone working on anything?
I'd like to think this can be corrected at some point.
THANKS
