Looking at the state of modding SkyrimVR compared to FO4VR is just goddamned depressing. We will never have stuff on SkyrimVR's level for FO4VR and that's just sad.
this thing just messed up my whole game. it was promoted on vortex for me to download this with all that extra stuff and i did it by the books. unfortunately the whole collection irreparably damaged my skyrim vr game and now im uninstalling and reinstalling praying the game can run VANILLA again. it said the engine fix one was missing a file with the code 126 but man oh man if that was the only issue then i was doomed from the start... if it could be updated to prevent this catastrophe from happening that would be pretty cool. after deleting everything from this package as if i never downloaded it to begin with, my game still didnt run. i redownloaded skse, nope. so now im just crossing my fingers
Might be a stupid question but so I'm clear. VR now reads .ESLs and reads esl flags of .ESPs? Yes, Skyrim VR has the same level of ESL support as SE/AE with this mod installed
And does that mean that certain VR specific versions of mods are no longer needed and I could choose to switch to their original SE version?
Depends on the mod since "VR version" could mean different things for different mods, I would stick to VR version of a mod unless you know what you're doing.
lol, I had basically the exact same question, even though that's literally what it says on the description page. I also needed the mod author to confirm because it seems way too good to be true. But sure enough, it works.
I said this before, and I need to say it again. This mod is seriously, literally a game changer. It's easily the best thing to happen to Skyrim VR since the VR script extender. I have close to 1100 plugins. I have not bothered merging a single thing. Tremendous work.
Hey! First of all please let me thank you as this actually made me port the Nolvus playlist to VR and it is majestic! would not be possible without this wonderful mod <3
I was wondering what about file header V1.71? I tried to download some interior mods from the "Snazzy" series (Snazzy Interiors + JK's Dragonsreach for example) which are the V1.71 header file version, upon loading everything is fine however once loaded all the saves become corrupted and you cannot reload any of them forcing you to close the game if you die, furthermore if a mod with that header is loaded runs scripts or events that occur on start up it says all saves are corrupted in the main menu and the game is unplayable .. removing the mods with this header restores them properly.
So I guess header files V1.71 are not supported? and if not can I just convert them to 1.70 in xEdit? Cheers and thanks!
Someone else checked and 1.71 headers did not cause save corruption, the issue may likely be something specific with one of those mods. Try to get a bare minimum modlist that can reproduce, and check if VR ESL is indeed the cause. If so, make a bug report with more info so I can check more into it.

Various tools have or are being updated for ESL support. Check them here: https://github.com/Nightfallstorm/SkyrimVRESL/wiki/Modding-Tools-status
This is an awesome mod.
Vortex has been updated to both show light plugins in the load order table and prompt the user to install this mod (if they don't have it already).

In the meantime, the issue is usually fixed by restarting your PC.
