Yes, the mod supports 1.6.1170; download the version that says Skypatcher - AE.

      Main file.

      Requires Skyrim 1.6.640+ or GOG

If you enjoy this mod, please don't forget to Endorse it!

Notice the "+" sign; this means this version of the mod supports all Skyrim versions from 1.6.640 onward. Including 1.6.1170.

So your saying that version 1.6.1170 came after version 1.6.640; because that's what your saying  "Requires Skyrim 1.6.640+ or GOG" is implying.

The reason people keep asking this same question is because it seems the mod maker only has a mod for the SE version that is compatibly with version 1.5.97 but no later and..
a an AE mod for any version that is 1.6.640 or higher.

people that have a version that came in between are stuck as to knowing which version actually works with there game, and to be fair if you check other peoples responses that have this version (1.6.1170), and are using the AE version, are saying that the AE mod is causing issues in their game......again, hence peoples confusion.

      - the AE version is for Skyrim 1.6.640+ or GOG
      - 1.6.1170 > 1.6.640
      - duh..

I have a problem hopefully someone has encountered and fixed already:

I have my skypatcher skse ini setup to use a custom follower to replace Jenassa, however, it only applies the head, but uses the vanilla skin. I know the ini is setup correctly, because if I simply put any other npc id in it, it will replace them correctly, head and skin. it's just Jenassa. I've gone through my mod list, and no other mod is replacing Jenssa.

    Hello

I would like to use a mod that requires Skypatcher to be installed.

I can't find a how to install section anywhere that explains how to do this.
Can someone please explain how to install this, with example file paths if possible. Thanks

Version x.x.640 is lower than x.x.1170 and is both AE
    __________________________________________________________
This seem to be a trouble for many to understand, also saw someone renaming the 1170 to 117 that is hilerius but totally wrong.
The versioning has been explained in numerous places here on nexus.

Good day, in Skyrim version 1.6.1170 it crashes when you try to get close to the Standing Stones of the wizard, warrior and thief, I have the Crash logs installed and it tells me that it is the SkyPatcher, is there any way to update or patch the problem?
Thanks and have a nice day.

Can someone please reply to this individuals initial question and give specifics as to which file you are to download if using version 1.6.1170?
Stating to download SkyrimPatcher - AE is unhelpful as there are many of those files and I cant seem to find one that supports version 1.6.1170.

Dude - there's literally only 2 files, SE and AE. Your individual version doesn't matter, you're either one or the other. The others are older versions of the same mod, why would you download one of those.

I have found no clear answer when searching through the Posts...If you are using version 1.6.1170 which file should you download?  A clear answer would be most helpful.  Thanks much! :)

    GOG 1179

Can this add quests, scripts, weapons, armor, etc?  More than patching.  I can't use creatorskit. Too busy to read articles until later.

    Is there an alternative to
    filterByNpcs=<plugin>|<npcBaseID>:setProtected=true

for NPCs with the 'PC Level Mult' flag? Unprotected NPCs without the flag get protection normally, but with the flag only the console change is applied.
