A Bunny's Life adds bunny companions into the game in an immersive and intuitive way, whilst also providing control over the mod's wide range of features. Key mod features include item trading, home assignment, naming, and petting. More advanced features include bunny backpacks, fetching items and the needs feature.

Description
A Bunny's Life adds bunny companions into the game in an immersive and intuitive way, whilst also providing control over the mod's wide range of features. Key mod features include item trading, home assignment, naming, and petting. More advanced features include bunny backpacks, fetching items and the needs feature.
Similar to my other mods A Cat's Life and A Dog's Life, bunnies have an optional needs feature, requiring you to show them affection and keep them well-fed, preventing them from leaving your side or perishing.
Purchasing Bunnies
You can purchase bunnies by visiting the Whiterun Palegia Farm and speaking with Nimriel, a very angry-looking Bosmer. You will be able to purchase bunnies and supplies.
Bunny Backpacks
Bunnies can only carry items if you craft, find or purchase a backpack for them and ask them to equip it through dialogue. You can also change their max carryweight value through the mod's configuration menu.
Video
Compatibility
Any mod that tries to force additional dialogue on NPCs such as select follower frameworks will likely cause issues with this mod without a patch. The follower system for the bunnies is otherwise contained in its own quests and doesn't affect the creature or follower limit in the base game.
Patches in General
The creation of patches isn't always down to the mod author and I welcome the community patching my mods and opening up new opportunities. It's just not feasible for me to sit here creating patches in xEDIT and the Creation Kit when I would much rather spend my precious modding time creating something fun and engaging. I work a demanding full-time job alongside family responsibilities, not to mention to need to kick back and relax on occasion. With that said, given the mood, I may create some patches going forward, especially if they are for mods I use myself, I'm just not promising anything.
