It's cool to have some rudimentary support for this new framework, but having tried this, I have to say, these descriptions are pointless. It only tells you things you already know, or could obviously guess. Just visual noise, a waste of space. I think with descriptions it really only makes sense to add them if you add lore, or something interesting, funny, or some joke or jab, it just needs to be in some way special or there's literally no point in it being there.
can you PLEASE add in the inscriptions of the puzzle claws in the description? I use the DLS mod which for some reason makes certain items invisible in the inventory menu and since they are quest items you cant drop them and so Im in a predicament where i have no idea what the claws look like or what they have as the solution for the puzzle. i downloaded this in hopes that it would give me some type of way to in game solve the puzzle but sadly the descriptions were not specific to my needs. Edit: I figured out how to do this myself but i do think this should be a feature. it took me about 10 minutes to add it all I will even add the lines i put on each of the claws if you want to copy paste. i could probably upload the ini file myself so let me know if i need to.

I mean it being empty would give the same general energy as the description, so it doesn't matter much either way. It's descriptions for every item, whether generic or not it's just a kind of atmospheric touch.
At least put more expression into it. What do i feel when I run my hand over it? Is it clean or dirty? Does it smell bad? What sound does it make when i put it into my 300-weight pockets?
My only real 'suggestion' content wise would be the scabbard for Mehrune's Razor. It technically "Once held Mehrune's Razor." Otherwise, great work! Didn't spot any typos or errors really.
The prince is named Mehrunes Dagon, so "Mehrunes' Razor" is correct according to the AP style guide, which is what Bethesda appears to follow for their games.
Damn, I did get the possessive wrong there - my bad.
I more meant that the scabbard is in the file now as "once part of mehrunes' razor" whereas, depending on interpretation, it once held or housed mehrunes' razor. If you consider the artifact itself to include a scabbard... it's technically correct as is though. Minor nitpick. Also that razor bit is the only thing I would change, considering the overall tone. I find the simple descriptions to fit quite well when you account for the more outlandish descriptions for more outlandish items. I loved the fishing items' descriptions in particular!

The rear part of a spider is called abdomen, not thorax. :)

Now I have two mods "vanilla item descriptions", one 1.0 and one 1.1. I don't think it breaks anything, just mentioning it in case it's not intended.
Even forks have personalities...private profiles, agendas...you know.😔
there is a "fork" used for eating soup, this one is just fork.
