I would recommend reading the MOD's main page. The description explains very well what it does. About performance, maybe it will improve a bit, especially if you use Light mods that add more light sureces than vanilla game, like Lux for example. In my opinion, Optimized Meshes for ENB Light is an amazing mod. If you use smoke for candles in your game—the work that was done with smoke by Oz3—is just art! ( and Im talking about the work that was done with meshes not only the visual effect) like EmbersXD—is a masterpiece. This mod is also a masterpiece. Same for candlelight! You may consider using the Candle Flame VFX Edit mod, but I still prefer Oz3 candle flame! So yes.. Main mod than patches from the main's mod page and only after my patches and addons. I can recommend Dancing lights - is a very underrated mod (I use ELFX version even with Lux).
Downloaded the patch for Medieval Candlehorns and Sconces and expected to see the lanterns from MCaS but I see the vanilla one. example that I have is the exterior lanters in Riverwood "candleLanterswithCandle01". With the version provided in ur previous upload of this patch here I get the model but the texture is missing. But between the files of the patches there is nothing I can Identify for why the difference is there.
So I have 2 questions 1. Why am I missing textures when using the patch from ur previous upload? 2. Why is this patch not using the Lantern from MCaS when its a patch between ENB Lights and MCaS?
O,o Let me understand you. :) First thing: I dont have previous patches; only those you can find here on my page. But You always have to download the patch first from the main mod's page—in that case, this one patch by Oz3 and then download and install my Patch Addon after. Also check that Oz3's patch is for Lantern version 2 (option to choose in MCaS installer).Maybe that's why you do see meshes without textures?
Sorry for the confusion, I was confused when I wrote this, as my modlist that worked 2y ago didnt want to work anymore, despite having updated all mods.
I found my error today when I was reinstalling all the mods to fix other things that just started appearing. My issue has been fixed by actually checking the related mods, so hope that u can excuse me with my madness (500+ modlist that suddenly has issues is a mess to untangle :) )

Hey, thanks for the updates and continued support on this mod. I was wondering if you have plans to add the candlehorntable01 and candlehornwall01 in the medieval candles patch? I think those two meshes would complete that set.
hello! well.. I can do that.. but also: Look: all Horn wall and table candles are not included in any patch because those dont rly need patch. SD's horns, High Poly' horns, Medieval etc etc.. they all use only one light/candle source witch is mscandleflame01.nif - and this one is overwriting/has to overwrite that same mesh from EmbersXD or Enb Light etc etc... So basically this is your mesh from main Oz3 mod with his Enb preset/changes. And as I know this horn candles from Medieval are not coverd by ENB Light mod - and thats why there is no incompability in color preset for exmpl. as some other like imperial candle. This is why Oz3 mod is compatible with all and any mod that has candles also.. because all of them use Node number 49 - candle light mesh - wich is mscandleflame01.nif O,o
yes, the lux patch, the meshes' names are... lux_lanternsolitudehanging01.nif and lux_lanternsolitudetable01.nif...just these two meshes are missing textures....lol, i've deleted them anyways
ok! this textures are included in Lux Via -> Lux - Resources - Textures.bsa and thats strange that those are missing in your game... those are installed as default. What is your Lux Via installation - with ENB light or not? maybe there is some issue in Lux Via meshes. I use ENB light option and everything seems ok. if you delete those meshes - than some places in Solitude will have no lanterns... O.o hmm. or no... you will have the same one from main patch.. vanilla lantern. The new lantern model for this mesh is Mathy's one. (Medieval Lanterns of Skyrim).

Oz3 left some models from ENB Light.. as he said on descripcion page.. 1 candle meshes for exmpl... but for me those dont looks as good as could. ENB Light has very specific colors for some of them.. that I dont like. I will add few options... by the way those silverwork cubmap's patch that I shared - need update.. after the last ENB update those dont look as should as I see.. Anyway I have to check ENB settings for 1x cubmaps now.. and maybe improve meshes. Have to see... Less shiny version should be fine.. but still have to check.
