I really like this idea, but my lack of knowledge makes me hesitate. Could someone explain to me whether such a mod, which, if I understand correctly, has a script run every time I draw the bow - can such a mod cause Skyrim instability?
I use over 1400 mods and I try not to install mods whose scripts run non-stop (like frostfall...), but I have no idea how many scripts I actually have running non-stop, so I'm afraid that this one extra one may cause instability. Is it true?
Just a suggestion: how about shooting the arrow automatically when stamina is empty? It means you can not hold the tension anymore and have to lower before, otherwise your finger’s release it. could make gameplay more interesting cause you have to be more careful.
Why? Isn't the whole point of crossbows not needing to keep them manually drawn? I don't think that holding them to point at your target can be that exhausting, lmao.
It doesn't make sense to have crossbows drain stamina over time, but it would make sense to have a one-time stamina cost every time you reload them. A great deal of strength is required to reload a crossbow. There are mechanical devices to assist with this and reduce that effort somewhat, albeit still far from zero, but we see no evidence of them having been invented yet in Skyrim anyway.
I don't think it would be the best idea to use something like this in vr due to how it works. I really would recommend using Simple Realistic Archery VR to achieve what you are probably looking for. You can make it so that it costs stamina whenever you shoot too quickly for example.
+1 is commonly used on Nexusmods in the comment section as a sort of upvote to say you agree with the comment, almost always used as a request for an edit. For example with an armor mod,
NexusUser1: "Hello Mod author, I really like your red armor set. I think it would look really cool if you made it in blue though." NexusUser2: +1 NexusUser3: +1 NexusUser4: +1

Either way, this will be a nice addition to many mod lists.
Is that something similar to "first!"?
