Is there any way you could add "The Warrens" in Markarth to the list (if it isn't already)? that's the only thing stopping the Glenmoril mod from being fully compatible with Shattered, and Glenmoril fits really well into a Shattered playthrough.
enabling travel to a destroyed Solstheim, that would be fun. Basically making a voiceless, invisible actor shoved in the steering wheel to act as a Ghialund or whatever his name is replacer. I can already see mushroom village broken, with the main stalk severed raggedly, a smashed-up Raven rock, the hollowed-out remains of the Skaal village, and as the centerpeice, the Temple of Miraak and all the shrines fully completed. And impaled on the Tree stone is a dead Miraak.
Is there any amount of begging I could do that you would reenable Windpeak Inn, Bannered Mare Inn, Candlehearth Hall , Bee and the Barb, Braidwood Inn, the Rat Way, and the Palace of the kings as cells, so that we can get Vigilant working with Shattered? I'm rather shite with the Creation Kit, or I'd attempt to do it myself, but I've enjoyed your work so far!
Also, anyplace where I can donate a coffee to you? Not as a bribe, but as a thank you for the work you've done so far?
Sorry, forgot to add my links in this mod, they're in the description.
I'm taking a look at enabling more interiors, the inns are a high priority. It's highly requested so I'll hopefully be able to show something for it soon.
Any chance for a 1.5.97 version without creation club content required? I love the idea I just don't play AE and don't want to use the CC content. If not then its a good excuse for me to learn how to remove a master file dependency from an esp. Either way thank you for your contribution to the community.
Yeah no, sorry. Shattered uses USSEP which depends on them as masters, I'm not really interested in maintaining a 1.5.97 version separately, nor do I have the time for that. Your options are to downgrade with the free CC stuff, upgrade to a newer version (there's no real reason not to anymore) or try and do it yourself.
Thanks for the reply. I suppose I can do the downgrade with cc stuff. Ill be watching your page for more areas unlocked, I like the idea. Wish I could help but my creation kit experience is limited. Thanks again.
I came here to ask this exact same question and made sure to look, but when I saw this response, I felt I had to chime in.
Shattered works with 1.5.97 and the USSEP version that works along with it. I know this because I'm actually running Shattered on that version of the game with that version of the USSEP. The USSEP requirement, according to Shattered's own Requirements tab, lists as a note, "Water seams," which makes it clear that this is the only real reason that the USSEP is required in the first place.
And despite USSEP officially having archived and made the compatible version of their mod un-browsable, it's still fully downloadable since Nexus doesn't allow them to remove that mod altogether. All one needs is a link to that download (it's right here on the Nexus, not on some shady third-party site).
For future reference, if you're not willing to make a version that is compatible with 1.5.97, then please specify in the description that this doesn't work with it and requires the CC content. This will save a lot of people a lot of headaches, because they won't be downloading and installing this only to find it doesn't work because of CC content you never said was required (and as it sits right now it absolutely is required due to the current USSEP requirement), and it will also reduce the amount of comments like this one that you'll have to deal with because it'll be plainly listed and the only excuse someone could give you then would be that they didn't read the description.
You're right, it's not deep at all. So why are you so opposed to telling people "this mod requires CC content to work properly" in the description page? Why are you so self-entitled that you think people should magically "just know" the requirements to run this mod when you never said what they were in the first place?
Not sure where I was being Self-entitled. I make mods for myself and upload them, I'm not required to do anything. I'm not required to support a version of that game that is like 2 years old and that people hardly use. I simply expect people to use the latest versions of everything and not a super secret archived version, so the CC stuff is there because of that. It's simply how I developed the mod, I don't pull any assets from USSEP but it had to be enabled for me to load it with Shattered so I don't know why you're getting so angry over this.
You'd be surprised how many people still actually use 1.5.97. Besides, Shattered has removed the requirement for USSEP. If you would be so kind please, you could remove the requirement as well and not lose anything, especially since your mod doesn't seem to contain anything from that CC crap except 3 single NVM records and xEdit's Clean Unused Masters script just removes them without any prompts.
If the Blue Palace is accessible at all, access to the Pelagius Wing (and the Clockwork-based rooftop garden) would be good. The latter is due to finding places for raising crops in the ruination and the former is for The Mind Of Madness. Heaven knows getting stuck in the mind of a ghost is a quest that fits Shattered Skyrim!
Think you could do the various taverns in Skyrim? Since a lot of custom follower mods seem to insist on placing their characters in them rather than in outside world near them
The taverns are a little more awkward considering most of them are straight up destroyed, if there are any follower mods you want specifically I can patch them in a different way and add them to my patch collection
I was wondering if and how you'd go about this, as @PendejoPanikeke is right about followers being almost exclusively placed indoors, especially inside the inns.
I haven't explored Shattered much yet; are all the Inns completely destroyed? Are the building husks being used for anything? My thought you might put the vanilla inns with load doors back into their original spots, but then make it look beat up and burned on the inside and out. Seems easier than patching every rando follower mod that uses these locations, but I'm only guessing. Appreciate the work you're putting in; can't wait to see where Shattered goes.
I'm an Xbox player who would like to bring this mod to the attention of the community to find a modder who can port it to bethesda.net. May I have your permission? Thanks in advance for your reply

Prepare to be very surprised:
