The only thing I would not like about a mod like this is that you'd be locked-in to a specific timescale. Sometimes I want to go fast, other times I want slow... Does this mod even work? LGRYTHM has said below that it doesn't. /shrug
Regarding adjusting timescale in general: >> I have game version 1.6.640.0 (Steam... "ptooey") at the moment. I often play at scale of 1 (real time); I worry that it "might" break complicated quests, but I have no evidence that it will. >> It does not "seem" that I have had any issues with water-flow... >> Also, I don't use "survival" mode, so can't speak to that. >> Does console-entered timescale persist through a save? I dunno, not that hard to set it every time you play. Some things DO save in console, others do not; it is a Bethesda game, why expect consistency? >> Immersion-junkies? What can be said? To each, their own.
There is no need for this fashion. It's easier to just enter the code "set timescale to", save the game and not take up space under esp. I set the time value to 12, everything works fine in survival mode.
Can just download this mod, and mark it as light so it wont use a plugin slot, but people use these mods cause they dont want to play with console during playthroughs or other reasons, its nice to mod the game and let someone else make a save on my pc( not everyone knows how to use console or what has to be done or set).
I dont like it when people say "just use console". thats not the point of the mod here man
Using the console is completely immersion breaking. I like to download mods ahead of time and then forget about them once I start the game. Once the game starts I like to be immersed instead of fiddling around with mcm's and console commands.
From what i've seen. Messing with the timescale via console commands (not sure about this mod) breaks certain aspects of survival mode. The freezing water will stop working after a while and warm/cold effects will hang as well. I'm pretty sure the survival mode was built around the timescale needing to stay at 20
I want to point out to all of you timescale junkies that the new water flow system in SSE is directly linked to your timescale in-game. So if you set the time to be too slow, you'll notice the water flow in rivers and lakes will be slower as well. Same goes for if you set the timescale too fast-- water flows faster than normal. This isn't a deal breaker, just thought I'd share with you all so you can come up with the perfect timescale setting for your own personal tastes.
That is incorrect. Water flow is not tied to timescale. You can test this easily by changing the timescale to 6 and then to 50 and see that the water does not change speed.
SSE Engine Fixes - ini Settings/Configuration - you can Try this:
WaterflowAnimation (default: true) - Decouples water flow animation from in-game timescale, so that decreasing/increasing your timescale doesnt mess with the water animation speed.
WaterflowSpeed (default: 20.0) - Sets the waterflow speed for the animation patch. The default of 20 is equal to the default timescale, and is probably OK unless you want the water to appear slower/faster for some reason.

For example, by default it looks like this;
Sundas, 17 Last
Seed
Is it possible to display it all on the one line?
Put in
Set time scale to 20.00
Default is (20.00) = 48 minutes per in game day
(15.00) = 1 hours 36 minutes per in game day
(10.00) = 2 hours 24 minutes per in game day
(7.50)= 3 hours 12 minutes per in game day
(3.75)= 4 hours per in game day

Type in console: ''show timescale''
Also you don't need this mod, if you are using iNeed, the timescale can be adjusted in the MCM
Anyone know how to fix it please?
