Hi! Thanks for this new model. I do have an issue though with seasons unfrozen: in summer, the lonelywhale is turn on the z axis to a 90° angle which looks terrible. In winter, no issue. I'm trying to look for a way to patch it (don't know if I'm the only one?) but since I use JK, DoS, COTN and TGC minor towns and Villages and thier patches + TGCoJKN, I don't know where to start... If you have a hint... there must be a mesh from the original boat swapped in summer... Thanks

I looked for 0x00000856~Seasons of JK Modular Unfrozen.esp in SSEEdit and replaced the original mesh file with yours in the record 856 Ships\ImperialShip01Base.nif => Ships\ImperialGalleon01Base.nif so when the swap happens, it uses the correct mesh I'll let you know if it works...
Edit2: Damned! still not right in Summer. There is another patch that alters this boat (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/71967 one of the JK patch included) ;XJKcydorilicShipLarge|XJKcydorilicShipLargeNoSnow 0x1AA0~JKs Skyrim.esp|0x811~Seasonal Landscapes - Unfrozen - JKs Syrim Patch.esp I do the same thing, overwrite the static using your mesh
Heya! Was using only seasonal landscapes, not the unfrozen version so i didnt notice the issue. Would be glad to add the patch. If u share the fix ill add it here.
Just to pass along some info. If you're using this mod and Falskaar there will be some minor clipping between The Lone Whale and the front of the boat that takes you to Falskaar.
I install on new game and works fine. For some unknown reason, adding this mod midgame, the new model never shows up and the old ship remains turned sideways and the masts disappear. I also tried loading it last in the lo, no changes.
If the old ship is appearing, its because the mesh is being overriden. You could try a few things: - Unpack this mods BSA and make sure its meshes override others - Pack whatever mod has the same mesh file into BSA and load before this mod to make sure mine takes priority
Thank you for your reply. Yes, it was being overwritten by two mods, both Darkend and Solitude Docks. They use the same ship models like JKs Skyrim uses. Using the newer model in this mod, it breaks the ship in the Solitude Docks mod which uses the original model.
I didnt forsee this. Mhm... I could make patches for those mods or just change the modelname to avoid conflicts. Let me have a think. I will update a fix today
Very nice looking ship. The only issue I noticed is that when I exit the Captain's Cabin, it seems to teleport me into the water as though the ship isn't there and when I swim far enough away, the ship reappears. I added the mod during the middle of a playthrough so I'm unsure if that has anything to do with it.
Thank you for the report, I forgot to move the spawn point for exiting the cabin, will be fixed in the next upload. Also fixed the floating ropes, was a problem with the source mesh
