very cool acting voice, good sad story, but so hard to find the guy around. I guess one is suppose to find him randomly during a (long) playthrough but damn, it was hard to find him even checking the screenshots! :) I would upload a quest markers version for lazy people
Just finished it! i really liked it, awesome writing and voice acting. A couple questions:

You mention in the description that there are multiple endings but I can't recall what I might have done differently to get another one, mine was Ren laying next to the Spectre corpse thanking me in the fourth encounter

From the credits and dialogue I assume the Spectre should be using Mihail's Toxin Doctor armor, I found him naked and funnily his tail was still wiggling a bit
Hey there! Glad you liked it, was really fun to make!

So there are multiple endings. If you pick up the amulet and give it to him, like you did, he'll kill the Spectre. If you don't give it to him, he'll actually be killed by the Spectre and resurrected as a thrall.

No idea why that'd be happening, might be a conflict with something, can't say what though. Works fine on most people's set ups, really odd
any way you can be persuaded to make a patch for Riverwood Ruins - Shattered Skyrim Addon ? Faendals house lies in ruins and his corpse is on the floor, however the door to the cell is still in its place and working and he still lives "inside" his normal home in a pocked dimension
Took me a bit to realize I should be looking at the titles of the images to learn which is the first location for Ren, but then I found him and was able to proceed without a hitch. I'll also add for other folks' benefit, that if you fast travel to the nearest map marker for each subsequent location and then travel to the spot shown on the images, you might have to Wait several hours for Ren to catch up.
Anyway, good, short, interesting quest! I found myself invested in Ren's story right away. The voice acting really sells the tale, and the dialog feels natural.
I'm looking forward to more quest mods from you. I can't wait to see what else you create; everything I've looked at so far is intriguing and seems really well made.
Glad you figured everything out, and thank you for the great review! Really happy you liked the mod and Ren as a whole, will be making a lot more content for everyone soon :))
Great mod and terrific voice acting. Having to run around following the screenshots due to no quest markers or in game hints detailing the next location was a little boring but I get that it's like Elden ring where you are supposed to stumble accross things rather than be pointed to them. Endorsed.
Write in the description of your mods that it has the ESL flag, this would greatly increase the chances of more players trying out these marvellous quests
Nimwraith hey it's me, Markus again -the guy that was asking permission to backport your mods to LE. I know you said you don't want your mods on another person's page. I respect that 100%. So instead, what if I send you my backported version of your mods via discord and then you can release it for LE on your page? What do you think?
I've stayed up way too late (at the time of my writing this, it's 3:40 in the morning) playing through a bunch of your mods, and I don't regret a moment of it! Tonight was spent with, in order of completion: 1: Calling the Watchmaker 2: Lost Heritage 3: Hunter's Dream 4: The Hunt for the Spectre and I've gotten started on The Breathing Abyss, although I'll leave the rest for after I've gotten some sleep! :P
I also played through Memorable Bounties and some (But not all, I think) of Memorable Dragons a while back. All of your work that I've tried has been really enjoyable! I'm really looking forward to your next mod, which I think is upcoming, judging by the posts on your Patreon? Don't rush yourself though! :D
Sidenote: I am considering downloading this "Shattered Skyrim" mod just because you've made submods for it. I figure you've probably got excellent taste, lol! Anyway, keep up the good work!
Your words definitely mean a hell of a lot to me, thank you! I'm really glad you enjoyed all of the mods, I can't thank you enough for playing all of them!
As for the upcoming stuff, I've got a Van Gogh inspired mod coming up which might be done kinda soon, we'll see how long voicing takes. If you want some more specifics you can join my Discord where I post more frequent updates, link is on the mod page.
Thanks again for the kind words, they really mean a lot :))

I think that works for me, I'll be a bit busy today with Christmas and everything but add my Discord:

I really appreciate you taking my wishes into consideration and I'll of course provide you with 100% credit for the port :))
