Hi, question. You mentioned colour in your description screenshot to be white, but there is no such option in sunhelms MCM. What should the right settings be?
Do you know if it is possible to do something like this but for Last Seed? I prefer the tedious survival-centric gameplay, but I dislike the bars from the Lastseed/Frostfall combination :D
(This is not demanding you do it haha. I would do it myself, but I have no experience with creating mods, and if you deem it to not be possible then I don't want to get lost in trying to make it work)
I'm not sure how either of them work with regard to the active effects UI or if they even modify them at all, but theoretically, it should be completely possible. You'd want to look in their folders for an SWF file under the Interface folder (for example, this mod uses "interface/exported/widgets/sunhelm/sunhelmicons.swf") and modify that using a program called jindrapetrik/jpexs-decompiler: JPEXS Free Flash Decompiler. Feel free to follow up here if you need any additional help, SWF editing is pretty easy on its own and a great place to start modding, but I found myself pretty frustrated by a near complete lack of good tutorials when I was trying to figure out how to do it.
Hmm the freezing icon looks very odd in my game when it is at max stage (completely white at the borders, turning the ice crystal into an ugly rough shape). The same does not apply to the flame, it pulsates quite nicely.
I'm using the widget addon for the bathing icon. Therefore I have set the icons to be coloured in the Widget MCM (otherwise there will be no oblivionesque bathing icon) and I have changed the display method to Alpha-based both in the Widget Addon and in SunHelm itself.
Any ideas about that problem? Would it be possible to have a version with just the food, drink and sleep icons? The SunHelm icons for cold and heat aren't actually bad by themselves.
I'll see what I can do about the pulsing effect, although unfortunately I'm not as proficient at working with Flash stuff so I can't guarantee much. The effect itself is, I think, inherited from the vanilla behaviour; it probably doesn't look right with the new sprite because I messed with the sprite itself a bit to get it working with SunHelm.
In the meantime, if you just want to disable it, go all the way into the folder structure of this mod and delete "sunhelmcoldicons.swf".
