I am sure you've solved this by now (holidays are busy so sorry for not replying), but dark face and vanilla features on an npc usually means something is overwriting the replacer. I am not the best person for advice when it comes to conflict resolution, as my knowledge is very basic still, but definitely check your load order and maybe your overwrite folder and make sure no other replacers affect the same npc, if you haven't done so already ;)

      Sorry, no :(
From what little I know, adding hair with physics to a replacer in racemenu doesn't work. But I believe there are mods out there to give physics wigs to npcs:
Detailed NPCs - Wigs for NPCs (SPID) at Skyrim Special Edition Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com)
Dress Up Lover's NPC Outfit Changer - SE at Skyrim Special Edition Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com)
