I would like to know how to find the books, until now I have been on the map a lot and I haven't found any, can someone help me or can the creator himself respond?
I wonder if the creator would let anyone mess with them. I'm trying to figure out how to make a scabbard for a few of the swords and maybe update the textures and stats. Valyrian Steel is supposed to be the epitome of forging and weaponry, it should really represent that and Blackfyre was the Sword of Kings.
Love this mod! Tried them with a "Test Dummy" character to check 'em out and they looked and preformed quite well. Don't mind the look of the Arakh - while (on the show) most of the Dothraki weapons looked like the Egyptian Khpoesh, some of the Bloodriders weapons looked much more like your Arakh ... who's to say which version was made into a Valyian teel one? The only negitive thing is that Ice is a tad long (clips the ground while worn). Would like to see some "Generic" swords to be droped as rare loot maybe around level 80. No, they are not OP. considering some of the stuff Bandits can get from the mod "Northpoint Armory" even at relitivly low level, you could even justify UPPING the damage a couple of points. Also really like the crafting/tempering method - while it IS a pain (it's supposed to be) it makes these swords a true Late Game prized possession!
Just wanna say I think your mod is very underrated. Especially for Blackfyre, I feel as though you really captured more of what I assumed it would look like, compared to the more popular game of thrones weapons mod pack. If you are still working on this mod might I suggest you shorten the handle of it a bit though, I know it's supposed to be a hand and a half sword but it kinda looks like it's a greatsword handle as lengthy as Ice. and maybe one day a scabbard would be dope.
but again, I really like it and thank you so much for making it and giving it so much love and detail
I haven't added Widow's Wail yet, but I will eventually. I think its game data are in the ESP file already (and have been from the beginning), but I haven't made the model or textures yet. I added the weapon entries for a few swords I hadn't modeled yet when I originally created the ESP file.
As real swords collector myself - and taking lessons for swordsfighting - I just wonna say that the grips looks a bit short, for balancing the long size blade (and the weight of it).
I'll keep that in mind. I'm not sure if I'll go to the trouble of updating each sword specifically to fix that, but I'll try to remember to extend them if I update them for other reasons. I'll also consider that when making new swords, of course.
Which swords look the most awkward to you? Do you have a recommendation for how long the hilts should be relative to the blade lengths?
Are you referring to Ice? By what factor should I increase the hilt length?
Also, keep in mind that the blade is Valyrian steel, which is unnaturally light. I may still lengthen the hilt, but it's justifiable to have it shorter than it would need to be on a real sword.
Hi, I have downloaded this mod through NMM and manually, and extracted the files to Skyrim/Data, but in game, the swords are a glitchy white/purple colour instead of what they are meant to be?
Which swords? All of them, or just some? Do they look excessively shiny, with tinted reflections? I had a problem with Blackfyre where its specularity was way too high in SSE, but it was just that sword as far as I know. Also, I fixed it for Blackfyre. It would help if you could tell me what happens for each sword (whether it's bugged and, if so, the specific appearance of the texture).
I would like to second his post, as it seems all of the swords (for me at least) are missing textures. The models and the rest work fine, they're just missing textures.
I apologize for the long wait; I was rather busy with other things and forgot about it for a while. As it happened, the problem only took some five minutes to fix, as I had simply failed to notice that the textures weren't included in the same archive as the meshes when packaging for Special Edition.
Anyway, it's fixed now. I apologize again for taking so long to get around to it, particularly given how simple the problem turned out to be.

But one question will there be Ser Arthur Dayne's sword? "Dawn"
Just a friendly comment.
