Well I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I followed your instructions to the letter but all the chickens are a weird plastic white. I'm sure it's something I'm doing wrong...I'm sorry I can't use your mod though.
Thank you for these awesome chickens, using it together with Varied Chickens(https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/4161?tab=description) so I don't have to choose between all these variants. Did had to use Nif Optimizer on the mesh because I had weird shadows on the chickens but that is fixed after using it.
Thank you for this! For some reason this chicken mod makes me happier than any other mod out there. I download it time and again. I'm excited to see that maybe there will be a version coming with all of the chicken colors too?

Did had to use Nif Optimizer on the mesh because I had weird shadows on the chickens but that is fixed after using it.
It seems your test plugin is still form 43, but that's an easy enough fix. Thank you so much for sharing with us :).
