      Really sorry for the late response. Did you use the vanilla dialogue menu when hiring her? @RMaxT1
      
      I can hire and dismiss her through the vanilla dialogue menu without problem, so I need more information. Are you using any mods that modify the vanilla dialogues or the voice types?
      
      Maybe you could try reinstalling this mod and clean the save with ReSaver; click "Remove unattached instances" and "Remove undefined elements" from the "Clean" menu of Resaver.

      Thanks for the info! I don't have that mod, so I can't say if it's the cause of the reported issue. I wonder if Mizu is the only modded follower with the problem on your end. You could try deactivating RDO and see if you can dismiss her. If you install Mizu midgame, make sure to dismiss any follower(s) hired through the vanilla dialogue menu before you activate Mizu, just in case.
