Has anyone run into a problem with LOOT? I'm getting the cyclic interaction detection error between this plug in and The Great Village of Kynesgrove plugin. I didn't have that problem until I downloaded this version of The Great Cities Resources. I deleted the old one because of a Dyndolod error that told me it was the wrong version.

I'm running the most recent LOOT version.
    I've have:
    updated LOOT's masterlist
    reinstalled both mods
added this resource plugin to the resources group in LOOT
added a rule to Kynesgrove to tell LOOT to load it after this resource  plugin
checked this one's master to make sure Kynesgrove wasn't a master
went into Xedit and removed the unused masters from the resources plugin
Edit: I disabled the resources plugin and I'm still getting this error.

I have no clue what to do next.

I tried disabling the Kynesgrove plugin with the same result. I even disabled the entire mod with the same result.

I finally got it to run when I disable this mod entirely and the enabled it and ordered it manually.

Found the problem (I think)! When actually going and trying to manually put the resource plug at the top of my list it wouldn't let me put it above my ESM mods to include The Great Village of Kynesgrove that I had ESMified. I'm going to ESMify this plugin. Anyone have any idea if this plugin will work with an ESM flag?

Would it be possible to flag this as a light plugin? My old load order is getting full...

Beyond excited to finally check out your Winterhold overhaul, it looks so good.

I am not an expert, but I tested ESPFE Follower - Eslify facegen and voices on Resources - The Great Cities.esp and it did compact and ESL the mod. It had this info in the output at the end:

Converted FaceGenData: 0, not converted: 0, missing: 5.
Converted voice files: 2210, not converted: 2.

I did not save the changes as I am not sure how safe it would be. If you were to do it, you would want to do it on a new game or one where you have never used these mods yet. Also, I am pretty sure you would want to have all the related mods and patches this supports loaded when you ESLed it. Then every update you would (I think) have to somehow redo the process.

For those reasons, it is far better to have the mod authors provide the mods as ESP-FEs in the first place rather than to have the users do it. While I really do wish it would happen as I have a massive mod list, it is a big ask because this is an already established ecosystem of mods, support mods, and patches.

Edit: Converting voice files adds some issues that make it even more important that the MA ESLs it instead of users.

Yes, an awesome update! Thank you!

However; I have a several of the Great Cities mods. I would like to know which version of Resources - The Great Cities.esp to use overall for now. Obviously you have the new version from this page for The Great City Of Winterhold SSE Edition v.4.1+. But I also have The Great Village of Kynesgrove, and though it's Requirements page sends us to this new page, it's files page still sends us to the old Resources version.

And I understand patches may be slower to update/catch up. Is the best course of action to wait to update Great City Of Winterhold, then later update to the new versions of Winterhold and The Great Cities- Resources completely for all of the Great mods?

Thanks again for your dedication to the community!

Use the esp on this page. It's compatible with Kynesgrove as well as the recent Winterhold update and causes no further issues with your game or anything.

And yeah if you have want to use a big mod list thag will require a lot of patches best to wait until the patch collection is updated as well :)

I mean - I already have The Great Cities- Resources from your old mod. But after installing this one in MO2 I replace The Great Cities- Resources from here for new with same name. Sorry if bad english, btw.

Yeah you should replace it if you plan on using the Great City of Winterhold v4.1 ;)

I don't like the hassle of The Great Cities of JK's North, so I took your Dawnstar and Falkreath and mashed them up by myself with COTN's version of each of those and oh man, they are the best towns I have ever seen now. Even on their own, I still love them all.

If we have the old required resources, do we need to download the new ones? Is there any change?

    Heya, cool thanks!

I was searching for your mods and want to tell you that the requirement for your Kynesgrove on its page is still the old Resourse. Couldn't found it if not the mod of the day tab.

P.S. Looking forward to updates of your mods, they look awesome.
