I tested this NG version on a heavily-modded 1.6.640 load order, and it works as intended, but I do not know about other runtime versions. If you use a different runtime version (such as 1.6.1170), please help others by leaving a comment to say if this works or not. Thank you for your help!
NOTE 2:
Maxsu gave permission for this mod to opt in to donation points. If you do donate, it will be split like this: 60%Maxsu, 20%Ershin, 20% me. (Maxsu in fact allowed 100% to the porter. I don't think it would be fair of me to do. The ratio above I came up with myself, which hopefully reflects the different weights of direct contribution.)
NOTE 3: I am not nearly as knowledgeable about how animations work in Skyrim (or anywhere) as Maxsu or Ershin. When porting this, I mostly relied on relevant Github repos and the compiler to figure out what needed to be added / changed to make the whole thing work, and somehow it actually works.
Needless to say, I also don't know if this version will continue to work / be updated if / when Bethesda takes a dump on us updates Skyrim again. I will try, but it would be best to assume it won't.
