About this mod
Upon request from friendly YouTubers, Relentless Zen and Nukt, I've adjusted the Flame spell (which is commonly used by bandits) to be less blinding, ensuring better video quality. I've heard that others might find this useful as well, so here it is
- Permissions and credits
The flame spell can be quite blinding, especially when using mods such as Embers XD of certain ENBs. To reduce the blinding effect, I utilized assets from The Witcher Signs mod to transform the flame spells into the Igni spell from The Witcher 3 game.
3 options are available depending on why, and with what other mods, you are installing this mod:
Option 1: the video creator option (the default version), which aims to fix as much flame blinding as possible. You will probably not use it after lvl 2, and this version removes also the effect when the spell is in hand (like in the showcase video)
Option 2: you just want to change the concentration flame effect, because you have another mod that modifies the flame spell already, for example, and you don't want or know how to merge those 2 mods in xEdit. Then go for the mesh replacer (aka no plugin) version
Option 3: you want to use this spell because this new effect it too fucking awesome and you are bothered by the fact that you can't see this little flame in your hand anymore? Then take this option
- This mod only overwrite the flame spell record of the vanilla game, so compatible with anything that don't touch this spell
