Anybody know how I'd be able to keep Galmar Stonefist in his original armour?

You can use SSEdit to open all your load order, then go to Gamar's record (FormID: 14128) and in DOFT - Default Outfit give him his original outfit: SonsOfSkyrimCommanderOutfit [OTFT:0008CF6B]. That should do the trick.

Hello. Can I please, see some screenshots of the officer's armor being displayed in the museum?

I just found this mod, another excellent job by Xtudo.
but quick question, is it possible to have a light version where there's only the armor without the capes and weapons/shields?

Hi. Nope, I won't do it. As I consider this mod closed.

Good Day to you, Xtudo. Out of curiosity, do you plan to integrate Guards Armor Replacer within this mod in some way as well?

Do I need SOS V2.0 - SE by Xtudo - Cloaks of Skyrim HDT-SMP and SOS V2.0 - SE by Xtudo - Cloaks of Skyrim Patch? Since I have both.

An HDT version for the "Cloaks of Skyrim" patch would be amazing !

Is there another mod needed for the shields on back to work?

Okay, I want to use this mod and have retextured armors in LotD. So how do I do it correctly? Do I need all three mods:  "Guards Armor Replacer SSE", "Son of Skyrim", "Sons of Skyrim v2.0 - My patches and fixes by Xtudo SE"? And when should I use the main legacy patch?

      Hi. Like this:

      • Sons of Skyrim - Main file v2.0.2.
      • SOS V2.0 - SE by Xtudo - Fixes v2.0 from here.
      • SOS V2.0 - SE by Xtudo - LOTD patch v2.2 from here.

Hello, i'm trying to use this mod, I have SOS main file (the right version) and both of the patches you mention here, in the order you mention them here (interspersed through other mods) and the SOS armors still are not showing in the LotD museum. Any ideas on what might be causing this to not work properly?

I used the display sorter, and then when that didn't work I attempted to manually place the armors, and neither worked. And this was on a new save

The LOTD display requires the "Old" armor versions, they are called something like "Old Whiterun Guard Armor". Please check out that.

Oh....I thought this was a patch to get the new armors to display in the museum...fair enough, I guess i'll have to keep looking then.

Nope, my patch is an aesthetical one, it replaces the old models with the ones from Sons. It doesn't touch the LOTD internal mechanics.

Ok I admittedly don't understand, so are the "old [hold] guard armor" sets basically functioning to "trick" LotD to display the new armors? Because i've seen a couple of the "old" versions in game and the icons in the menu look like the vanilla guard armor, but there's a screenshot with the proper new armors displayed in the museum...

These things are managed via scripts by LOTD, so I can really tell you what armor is it.
The best thing for you to do is to add all guard armors to your inventory (with AddItemMenu - Ultimate Mod Explorer for example) and then place them to see what is the required piece you need.
