About this mod
Juniper trees from Myrkvior - The Flora Of Skyrim - Trees SSE now with variants for all seasons. 3d lods for Dyndolod 3 included.
- Requirements
- Permissions and credits
Kojak747 created Myrkvior - The Flora Of Skyrim - Trees SSE with a plugin adding Large Juniper tress to the Reach. I am seasonal Skyrim huge fan so I created seasonal juniper variants for myself and now with Kojak747 and z929669 (hybrid lods) permission I share it with you.
My mod includes:
- 2k juniper branch textures for all seasons thanks to vurt permission. So junipers look even better!
- hybrid lod for a good look and performance (reguires dyndolod 3)
- tree versions for all seasons. Juniper does not loose leaves in the winter, so it's just snowy.
This mod was created to be used with Lexy’s Legacy of the Dragonborn: Special Edition guide, but will work with any other setup as well.
INSTALLATION
Requirements:
- You need to have seasonal framework for this mod to work (Seasons of Skyrim SKSE)
- Myrkvior - The Flora of Skyrim - Trees SSE (we need only juniper assets)
- TFoS Large Juniper Trees in the Reach plugin from Myrkvior - The Flora of Skyrim - Trees SSE
Place my mod under Myrkvior files.
I suggest installing by using a mod manager. It should work when manual copying the files to data folder as well (and overwriting main mod), I just don't recommend that.
Use TexGen to generate LOD textures and save as mod.
Use DynDOLOD 3 to generate LOD and save as mod.
Recommended DynDOLOD 'tree' mesh rule: LOD4/Level0, LOD8/Billboard4, LOD16/Billboard1,, LOD32/Billboard6 (Level0 looks best for all but will tank performance)
For more tips about Dyndolod setting, check Myrkvior - TFoS Add-On - 3D Hybrid Trees SSE - DynDOLOD mod page.
I am using texgen/dyndolod setting's from Lexy's LOTD guide.
If lod trees look too bright for you, please install Seasonal Darker texture for lod generation file an enable it ONLY before texgen/dyndolod runs.
COMPATIBILITY
If a mod is compatible with Myrkvior Juniper plugin then my mod is compatible as well. I does not change tree placement, just how they look.
