I'm an "immersivefag", so I love any mod that makes the game more immersively realistic. But I think there's a little flaw on this one, let me explain:
My character is the sneaky rogue type, using the usual bow and dagger, but she also knows a little of magic, fire magic, as she (backstory/roleplay) learnt it in order to easily make bonfires and survive in the cold lands of Skyrim. So, in battle she should be able to change weapons at least.
If she is using her bow from afar, and is suddenly spotted, she should be able to change to her dagger, or if using her dagger, be able to sheath it and use fire spells. I also run and hide frequently (as obviously my character alone can not kill a group of bandit if they all come to her)
Spoiler:
Show
and use lower restoration spells to cure her wounds while hidden. (Fun fact: I have a mod that hides the EYE ICON, so I don't know if they have spotted me, nor still chasing me if I'm hidding.) Personally, I rarely use thu'ums, but they should be obviously be interchangeable, as they're just spoken words basically.
So, restricting everything is a little too much. Maybe just allowing the weapons/magic in the favourite menu and nothing else?
Not sure why this even a thing in the image of adding "more difficulty" .. when I could just strip my character naked before a combat and label it as 'Legendary+++' mode too. People who want to stick to using their currently equipped items beofre a battle would just go on with those rather than opening up the inventory menu. I barely even feel the need to open inventory myself during a battle. If anything what this mod will do is cause inconvenience to players while taking up ESP slot (I think) rather than providing benefit. Unless there are other things this mod provides which I am not aware of
it's just a way to prove to yourself you don't need to open your inventory, it's only a inconvenience if you can't live without pausing and spam potions or whatever, try it, and i'm sure you'll understand the appeal.
