Hello, would it possible to edit the FOMOD to allow us to choose our own keybind? This mod is essential for alieviating Wheeler's DMenu dependancy. Cheers.
How this mod works, is that I made a bunch of different versions of the wheeler control configuration file, and then whatever you select in the FOMOD, that wheeler control config. file is then installed. I'm not a programmer (yet lol) so this is the best solution that I could think of haha. Hope this clears things up <3
I found that it is not really troublesome to change this mod button. Just compare it with the table below. mods\Wheeler\SKSE\Plugins\wheeler\Controls.ini [InputBindings.MKB] toggleWheel = 58(default)→ you want Input Script - the CreationKit Wiki (uesp.net) I must thank your mod for bringing me ideas.
Dude holy s#*! thank you for liking that guide. I was wracking my brain out trying to figure out why CAPS lock on his ini file was 58 and not 20 and other such wierdness
This is a great mod; keeps things simple. For some reason dMenu would refuse my changes over and over, even if I turned auto-save on or manually saved changes to my settings. This is a great alternative for people who aren't looking for "complex" customization of the Wheeler interface.
Can you explain the Ze Custom a little bit? I'd assumed thatit'd give me an MCM menu where I am able to set the button to open the wheel, but instead the wheel is open with 'Q' (alongside the favorites menu). Is there something I'm missing? If not, can I ask that you add 'B' as one of tenpossibnle key binds?
No, these config files are only for keyboard, if you want to look into changing the config file yourself, here's the link to the input script (https://www.creationkit.com/index.php?title=Input_Script) I might do controller support in the future but not right now
