To be honest, if someone were to make them smaller and rig them for the animated Dragonflys you can use as alchemychal ingredient, that would be a epic replacer. :O
Been a hot minute, (Your name was "Skinwalker" then if memory serves) I remember suggesting maybe having Ceratopsians in Skyrim, anyway I've been really enjoying the dino mods you create! Museum work has kept me busy, BUT I immediately downloaded the Spinosaurids mod and the Raptors (I also downloaded the Tyrannosaur and the Dimorphodon one as well) So this Meganeura mod caught my immediate attention. My current study is in Prehistoric Crocodilians but I like to dapple looking at Carboniferous animals. Meganeura is such an intense dragon fly, probably around the size of a Hawk or Eagle. I got a couple ideas to build on this.. as a Crocodile guy heres an Idea, sure their are other mods with crocs in them. BUT a "Prionosuchus" would be fun , this animal was a thick boi (p.s dont be afraid to google it for how it looked) and a good aquatic hunter. Getting to the point now (Finally) its a Paleozoic creature (same era as Megneura) plus just using slaughter fish animations, rigging, est. would work perfectly, also if you can make it a BIG BOY aka big big slaughter fish, I guarantee your gonna scare players that get too close to or in lake ilinalta. This specific place would work great! plus there isnt alot going in that lake, its just kinda lack luster. Anyway hope this sparks some ideas, keep making more paleo stuff your Really good at it!
Now this is what I am on about... Amazing model this. Easily found in the world as well.
Not only has it got decent collision (Large one) it has I noticed an independent articulated head which is a nice touch. I got THE FLY vibes from this haha, probably due to being Halloween horror week I guess...
I did a quick VR demo of interaction with the beast... You probably thinking why does he try to ride everything ?, well I find its a good test to collision boundaries and model complexity.. VR interaction with game objects and creatures is everything that's fun about VR.. :) https://youtu.be/YpLspZceix8
