question, how did you make them spawn more after death? i had an idea for a mod that uses that effect, i would imagine that having an infinite duplicate upon npc death would eventually crash the game, however a simple duplicate uponn death is very fun!
For anyone who comes across this later, I created a duplicate frostbite spider race, and edited the scripts for the original to spawn the duplicate on death. (pseudocode: when frostbiteSpider dies, place frostbiteSpider2 x 4). I'm not a very experienced modder though and Sky91 thinks that's an inefficient method, so I'm inclined to believe them.
Amazing work! Any way you could make an oldrim version? And also spiders that are pregnant explode when they die and release a bunch of small babies spiders
Well, I just tested this out in Helgen Cave and let's just say there's a ZERO percent chance I'll ever try the swarm version! 😱 I was really curious what they'd be like - they are definitely way worse. But I also wanted to see if this worked with Arachnid Brutality, it would seem so. Even worse. Plus, I also use Neurotoxic Spider Venom so they have a 50% chance of paralyzing you, and that works with it too. So yeah... And, if you really want to punish yourself, make sure you use Increased Enemy Spawns 3x like I do. It was an absolute horrific experience. Well done!
Oh, and I flagged this as ESL and it worked fine for me.

If you think the speed is too much, change the speed multiplier in xEdit from 600. 250 is about right to me.

and I would use it but I only can use ESL mods anymore. :(
