This replacer is a whole masterpiece! Thanks a lot for the TRX texture matches perfect with him so now he's complete and living in my favorite house/inn with your Miraak. All your boys are a must-have!
The reason my characters have small heads is due to the body proportions I adjusted. I worked to give them a model-like physique with a short upper body and long legs. If, despite this, you are not satisfied with the character's proportions, try adjusting the 'NPC Head [Head]' value in the 'meshes\actors\FeatherGORE\skeleton.nif' file. It's not a difficult task, but you should have a basic understanding of NifSkope manipulation. Also, if you adjust the head size, the neck will become shorter. This is because I adjusted the neck length to match the smaller head size. You can also edit the neck length by adjusting the value of 'CME Neck [Neck]'.
Hey featherstitch, I’m using the TNG version of your gore replacer. Whenever I travel to camp, I can see his dingdong through the clothes (and this happened only with him, not with any other NPC as far as I know). The TNG debug spell doesn’t solve this issue, do you have any idea how I should solve this issue?
Sorry for the issue you're experiencing. First of all, I don’t use TNG, I use SOS. The TNG option was made upon request, and I only verified it works in-game but didn’t thoroughly test it in actual gameplay.
I think I need to explain the structure of the Replacer. Since Skyrim uses a system where every race shares the same body shape, I created a separate race for him by copying Skyrim's race to give him a unique body shape. From what I’ve seen, TNG is an option that adds a ‘dingdong’ to Skyrim’s base races. The Gore that gets its appearance changed by my Replacer isn't a base Skyrim race, so I had to request a separate TNG patch for it.
No matter what type of Gore it is, they’re designed to use the same race. I'm certain the Gore you’re having issues with is using the same race. If there's an issue with the Gore in the camp option, I think it can be solved by adding a TNG slot to Gore’s camp outfit with ssedit.
I don't plan to make TNG patches for my mod anymore, because it didn’t work the way I intended with other mods. However, if there’s a problem with the existing Gore options I’ve made, I’m open to feedback and will improve the files. Let me know if it gets fixed after you try it. If you’re not familiar with modding or ssedit, I can give it a try for you.
Thanks for the explanation of the structure of your mod. Unfortunately I'm not familiar with the more advanced side of modding. Can you perhaps point me to a more detailed guide on how to make the changes you suggested? I'm not sure where to even start looking
Hello featherstitch, thanks for creating this replacer! Just a question, I know the in the vigilant add-on Gore becomes older, does your mod keep him young looking?
i think this preset looks really great but the anime chin makes him look a bit uncanny mixed with the skyrim realism style. any chance you'd consider making an optional tweak? i really want to use it in my game but im just a bit thrown off by the chin
also have you heard of the bochu male race? i think itd work really well with the style youre going for
The way I make the chin is my way of making a low poly head look good. I need ECE for body shape editing and that forces me to use low poly. Sorry if you don't like it, but there is no other way.
Bochu race mod was a mod that a Korean modder I know was working on. I heard that the work has been moved to Vector this time. Not my taste
Thanks for the replacer. When using the Gore x Vigilant patch, Skyrim crashes if you see Gore's face during the storyline in Coldharbour in Vigilant. This now occurs after you leave the prison tower, northeast of Coldharbour. I really like the face in this mod, so it's a shame I won't be able to see it to the end...
Honestly, this was due to the mod list and I didn't think it would be fixed so soon. Thank you so much. ;_; I checked it out and I could see his beautiful face again. I've progressed a bit and it hasn't crashed.
It seems that the replacer doesn't work properly in the latest version 1.62, but are there plans to update it to be compatible with this version? I'm sorry if this is currently being addressed.
Yea it wasn't working for a while the TNG mod wasn't showing up it was just a weird hole in his crotch. I did fix it on my own though, it was the custom race it didn't work with TNG's presets of them so I had to edit it on SSEDIT to get it work. I had to return him to a normal nord.
It's normal that the crotch is empty. Because I wrote it down in the content of 'Frequently asked questions' (This is a method devised because of Skyrim's body shape system.) But the base is the default race, so there's no problem using it, in SOS.
If it is possible to assign genitals to him in TNG, it will be possible by simply changing the body mesh without having to make a separate TNG version. Or is it impossible to just assign genitals to TNG without body mesh change?
Not too sure to be honest, I tried making a custom gential preset for his custom race in SSEDIT but it never worked the only way I could was to change him to a normal nord. But I'm not too good at modding I just worked hard to find a solution that worked for me.

But it seems that there is some bug in my image, his hair turned blue-purple and his face did not change...
There is no problem.
