    State of the Mod (as of Feb/2019) and future plans:

    - Sadly Jokerine has left the modding community. But (as long as specific credits are respected), she gave full permissions to their mods. So, besides fixing bugs and ongoing tries to make this mod compatible with Open Cities, I feel like I could implement other suggestions as well - which would be uploaded as optional - always keeping the original version.

    - That said, I'm asking the community for suggestions on how to improve this mod, if necessary.

    - I will see if I upload this mod to Bethesda and/or Xbox. As far as I know, it would not be possible with PS4. When the time comes, since I don't own any consoles, I'd require someone to test for me.

    - Lastly, I'm porting Jokerine's 'Thalmor Justiciar Ondolemar - Now Follower', to go along with these 'Thalmor-like' series mods. It's been more challenging than I assumed initially (like to make it work with RDO SSE and so on). So expect a month or so still for a first version. If you did like Oldrim' 'Thalmor Justiciar Ondolemar - Now Follower' mod, but want to suggest more options, feel free to and I'll try to incorporate them in my ported version.

    This is a very old mod, first introduced for Skyrim LE in April 2014. Not all storage in this mod is safe, and both cells respawn.

    With today's tools the fix is straightforward. Open the mod in the latest version of SSEEdit and expand the entries under Cell.
    For both aaaSolitudeEmptyHomeBasement and aaaSolitudeEmptyHome, add the "NoResetZone" option from the dropdown menu to XEZN - Encounter Zone.
    Exit SSEEdit (be sure to check the backup box) and your done.

    Hey! I love this mod and thanks for porting it, the assets used (Especially the wine rack, the strongboxes and the luxury jar) can actually be copied and taken by a positioner mod if you have one, so I'm using this mod to decorate the other houses. It's still a nice place, very small but fitting for my very affluent thief.

    This is truly one of the most underrated player home mods. It's just perfect! Not that I am a Thalmor fan, but the little basement "war room" is so damned cool. It's got everything one needs and it's hidden in the best city! Please pass this on to the original author with my thanks!

    does not work for me. skyrim se does not start.
    removed solitude expansion (my single solitude altering mod) but still not working.
    i have 205 mods flawlessly working.....very sorry this one i waited for so long obviously does not fit in.

      sorry for my late reply!
      i gave it an other try after sorting my now 230 perfectly working mods. i will not change this winning team again in any way.
      now the mod works and i just had to remove some kind of "grave tablet" that was sticking out of
      the table with the shrine on it.
      :-)
      ...but alas, i could not identify the real culprit who gave me those ctds and starting problems on my first install.
      so thanks again for the great port!

      yeah love this mod and endorsed it, but the weird grave tablet on the shrine was a bit off, so I disabled it too.

      All in all an amazing mod, it meshes well with JKs Skyrim modifications for Solitude and the Corner House in Solitude, just have to disable the boxes next to entrance to access the hidden ramps that drop you on the Corner house!

      Love seeing the Capital full of life and extra houses!

    State of the Mod (after a veeeeery long hiatus). As of Nov/2018:

    - Updated a few minor things on the description;

    - A reminder that you're always welcome to post images; I'm especially interesting how it looks with ELE+ENB or other new-ish interior lightning mods;

    - I do NOT own any consoles (namely XBOX), so I cannot port this mod over to that or to Bethesda. If anyone would like to do so, please contact me, so I can go over the necessary permissions for you. No promises, though.

    - A bug has been reported about a misplaced (or weird looking) "grave tablet" (thank you for the report user 'morrowhen'). Since now I'm back to SSE, I'm currently (Nov/2018) investigating that issue. In the meantime, as a workaround, please console-disable the "grave tablet" (thanks 'morrowhen' and 'Brujoloco'). If you do not know how to do that, I can explain later in a post. ALSO, if you do encounter this bug, let me know if you suspect an interference with another mod.

    - Also, currently (Nov/2018), I'm going over several mods that alter the interior of Solitude, classifying them as either compatible, or non compatible or "semi" compatible,.You can help me with those tests as well. :)

    - Finally, and perhaps more importantly,... I was working on a a version with Open Cities, but unfortunately I had to abandon it due to few issues with some clutter and doors (the proper door conversions might be solvable by a fresh new xedit plugin I'm currently trying out. THAT SAD, IF someone wants to provide a patch between Open Cities and Lofty Loft,, you're most welcome! :) In that case, either let me know so I can upload here or just go ahead and publish as a new mod (while linking back to this page).

    So does it not being Multiple Adoptions compatible mean that it can't house 6 kids or it can't house any kids at all? I only plan to adopt 1 kid but my current custom player home doesn't support adoption so I needed something small and easy to get to.

      It means it can't house any kids at all, sorry. There's just a double bed in the loft and, as far as I know, any family system out there requires a space for the spouse (which could be in the same double bed), BUT also additional space(s) for kid(s).
