A ctd when trying to start the game, or when approaching Ivarstead? I am at work right now, but when I get home I will look at it and see if I see anything wrong.
Edit: as far as I know Birds of Skyrim has not been updated in years. What version are you using?
Well I looked at the patch, the only masters it requires are Skyrim.esm, Update.esm and BirdsofSkyrim_SSE.esp so it isn't a missing master, I assume. It doesn't even need TGT Ivarstead, technically.
I currently have both the latest versions of both Birds of Skyrim (version 2.7) and the Ivarstead overhaul (version 1.2). When I looked inside the Birds of Skyrim folder, it hasn't been updated since Dec 2017.
All the patch does is change some coordinates for the two little birds, so it is highly unlikely it is the cause of your ctds. However, if you use CrashLogger SE, feel free to post a crash log (spoilered!) and I'll have my friends who are much better at that than me look at it to see if they can decipher it.
