Update #1: The separate floor pelts archive has been re-uploaded. Thanks to Hooliganman451 for reporting the corrupted download. Update #2: The wall pelts have been adjusted slightly along the y-axis to avoid clipping through thin walls. Jorrvaskr was a good example of this. Thanks to GenshinStartUp and Hooliganman451 for the reports and for helping me to find the offending mesh locations. Kudos to you both! Enjoy!
Update 23rd April '24
I've uploaded optional files that split the mod into two separate downloads. I've found that, in some lighting conditions (generally when using ENB detailed shadows), the floor pelts can look a little spotty when compared to the wall pelts. I'll continue to look for ways to improve the pelts, and these downloads allow you to pick better how you'd like the mod to work for your game. Enjoy!
Update 24th Mar '24
Version 1.1 improves the floor pelts (01 and 03), which I've not been a fan of for some time. Enjoy!
Vanilla, in Jorrvaskr, the room to the left of the main hall when you enter from the front. The wall pelts can be seen poking through the walls on either side of the door.
I think you might need a compatibility patch for raiserfx's "Detailed Rugs" mod. That mod keeps overriding yours and my mod manager doesn't prompt me for override permissions, so I can't force your fluffy pelts mod to take priority. :-(
Edit: I also use "Detailed Rugs 4K-2K - Cleaned and Upscaled Textures" by XilaMonstrr. Don't know if that's important.
Edit 2: Just re-enabled Detailed Rugs and installed "More Realistic Fur and Antlers for Male Elks," and now Fluffy Hanging and Floor Pelts is working again. I don't know how that worked, but whatever. lol
hey, could you do a proper patch for lux please? like splitted meshes to avoid the lights limit ? with modded interiors like ryns you hit that limit if you just overwrite the lux meshes and you get flickering
Unfortunately, to do that, I'd have to make the mod all over again. It's not as simple as splitting the mesh, as each one is made of up to 20 layers. I've not noticed any flickering while playing.
Hi there! Unfortunately not. Gamwich hasn't allowed any shell-texturing to be done to the Peltapalooza pelts yet. They've not written it off for the future, though, so you never know what might come in time.
I've taken a look at the latest update, and GGUNIT has split the pelts into four pieces. This is done to avoid light flickering. When you're installing this mod, you need to overwrite the Lux meshes and then you'll have the fluffy pelts back.

Not by this mod, but Haladoon did a mod that covers that recently: Catacomb Leather 2k-4k. Hope that helps!
