      Thanks for the hint, I am getting in contact with Nutyo. His mod/config is the original one, but I was not aware he released it on Nexusmods.
      I only changed it to reduce closeup brightness and increase light range to look nice in VR.

      Yes they do essentially the same thing, but with a marked difference in effect. (tested them both)
      
      For me, it boils down to personal preference, and I prefer this version over the one in 101250.
