hi everyone. mod had been updated. new pic's and overhauling the mod description will i have done over the next 2 day's time. my mod is now out of WIP, and im telling my porter to LE he can get started converting the files to LE, but upload it including my new description once i have had that done.
Hello, i had an issue with the mod.. i downloaded all requirements for the conquest mod to work, but when i load the game and click on the book to select a banner the option to click "ok" pops up and then nothing happens.. trying to see if i can fix this. thank you!
well, sadly there are none banner left to replace. dang, how could i forget about warhammer's? oh well, maybe anoder time if i decide to make an alternative game banner only banner's. this one has been a mix of movie and game based....
there has not either been room for harry potter banner's, maybe if i had dropped the oblivion and morrowing banner's. will give it some thouth, maybe i'll just do that, replace just the oblivion and the morrowing banner's with yet again oder game's.... and upload that as a second option of download's.
Hey Sarakarar just having a look through your files in the download section. You might want to change incaendo_banner03 as it should be .dds format not .PNG. Looks like the missing texture (purple model) in second image next to the troy one. Just letting you know ;)
thing is. if i do that. it won't be registred by the original mod. as it there is scripted to load as incaendo_banner03.png. if i change it to dll, it won't load at all.... so that's a change galvatron would have to had done to the main mod first....
also those pic's are old. lot's has happened sense then. and simdrew is currently getting done the final fixes for the 3 banner's wich won't actuely appear in game. so fare, he has already gotten 2 done. im gussing that would be banner 30 and banner 31, by making a small script that would prioritize my mod's banner's over the main mod's to that way force mine to be shown instead of the main mod's two imperial banner's. weil the third one being banner 3, i can emagin is the most hard one to figure out why that one won't replace the original banner with what ive in folder changed it to be.... gussing he is going to ask galvatron what he had done differently with that one then the other banner's when he made the scripts.
but, all that said, i appriciate you have taken your time looking at this, and appriciate your surport
Grungehog No worries, I've updated the PNG to the proper DDS specifications, and made it work. Wasn't easy but we got it working. Skyrim doesn't read PNG and only recognizes DDS files. Took some time getting it to work, but it appears correctly in game now and I've sent Sarkarar the updated files.
Good to see you fixed it. @Sarkarar The point of a texture replacer is to overwrite a texture already in use, no scripts required. @Simdrew1993 I was just providing technical feedback on the mod.
all credit for the fixes goes to Simdrew. he spent many hour's solving those very stuborn issues of banner 3 and banner's 30 and 31. 30 and 31 were quite easy. but banner 3 were a nightmare
hi, GOOD NEW'S!!!! simdrew has managed to fix my now final version of my banner replacer mod. and will send me that corrected version tommorow!!! LE player's. once i have uploaded that, will i tell my LE Porter he can get starting doing that, and he will get starting doing so. once he upload it, will i add the link to it here in my mod description. and ofcouse post that link on COS's discord too. LE user's. the time of red triangel's end is NEEEAR! soon you'll finaly actuely have banners too!!!
Indeed! And I've actually already sent them to you a bit ago. They are packed up and ready to go, and are ready for upload too. The PNG is now a proper DDS file so Skyrim can read it since Skyrim cannot read png's, and you'll see it appear properly in game once you install the mod, it took many hours to get it working but hey it works now, yay! All 3 banners should now be fully replaced.

hi. my new optional download is purely for simpdrew to download, to correct a few things for me. then i'll upload that as the main download file, and put the optional download as hidden.
hi. im not going to reach to upload this next update today after all (had hoped to have it up in about 7 hour's and 30 min time from now)
but. becouse Incaendo gives permission to use the two banner's wich were most voted for in the Conquest of Skyrim discord, he won't send me the PNG file of the banner's, but tell's me to convert it myself from dll to png file. so. i have to find out what program to use for that. ive asked him wich program he'd recomend wich is free to download and use, and it can take some time before he answer that, and first then am i to download that program and learn using that.....
but. once this next update is up. am i having someone who's going to download that, hopefully correct an issue for me that does that the original banner's for banner 30, 31, and banner 3 still is what show's in game, although they are replaced in the banner folder. this is do to that somewhere ell's in the CoS mod. is there anoder file with thise 3 banner's, wich is set to be praroritized above how things is in the banner folder.... after all that is fixed by simdrew, galvatron's dear friend and right hand. will he then send me that fixed file folder of my mod, wich i then will upload here, and overhaul the mod description etc etc.
and that will then be the final update of this mod. where as someone i have on the ready, will start converting that for LE player's. will then link he's LE version in the description.
i hope to withing the next 4 day's to update this mod. wich will be the final version.
the last two banner's will have been replaced. a diablo banner, and anoder version of that banner ive used to replace all the other banner's. im also going over my mod page description to add into the recomended section all kind of armor and weapon mod's to go along with this mod, to truely play as thise other games coming to skyrim, to truely play and represent thise games gear wise too weil your conquring skyrim for yourself, for good or for evil.
i also hope to manage to make the mod page a bit more read friendly, with as how long it's getting.

surtenly. that can be arranged. i am currently now about to update the mod, adding oblivion city banner's and each faction's banner's. in the next update after that, will 6 houses of morrowing be added too. then there will only be 3-4 banner's left all spread out from each other. those could be some targaryen/GOT banner's. one im already having on my pc ready to edit to the right banner size and add in, wich is that red banner of that young egoistic king :D
