- setup scenery in the open areas in upper roots that will depict enemies throughout skyrim. So far I've started a Dwarven area a spriggan and hag area. An area like skuldafn with dragons 2 or 3 spots open for ideas until get to it.
- after getting the arena, down below, set up to work, the static actors up top will be replaced with ones the player can interact with. The dialogue will simply be to tell them to get ready. The actor then will be disabled and will appear below. Once the player has spoken to the actors that are wanted to fight, go down below and trigger the fight. Player should be able to participate or watch... will build a watch box to sit in if just observing. This is future plans so nothing likely in the immediate future, just decorations for now.
So far it seems there will be no adoptions here. I have spent too much time with it and still can not link location to map marker. Next work will be to get the Moras roots together (I have started building a couple times, just didnt feel right). However when this is done all inside crafting stations will be moved there, except kitchen stuff. The crafting room will be set up as a follower bedroom that will have a switch to make it a kids room (if I ever figure that out) then follower will have a bedroll. I hope the lighting is better for you all if you prefer the darker feel let me know, it can be adjusted. I'll be back on this soon but need a quick update for my other mod.
Will likely be updating in a couple days. The roots area is coming along as well as the mora theme for the rest. I was wondering if anyone prefers the more vanilla look instead of where this is going?
I've looked into this and it seems I'm slightly past the low size on things and still have a bit to build but it can be done with another mod requirement so I will do my best to see this happen but I want to finish the moras roots area before attempting it. A perfect home for a powerful wizard. A little suggestion. If there is a teleport spell,that would be really nice:) and if possible, an area for unique item displaying. That makes owner of this house look mysterious and more powful.Hahaha. Please forgive me for my English-speaking,it is not my first language. At last,what you have done is really awesome. I have been planning taking the house of Neloth for too long. Thank you for everything. Really expect the upgrade of this mod.
I am currently working on something for the other mod but am intending soon to figure out the teleport spell for this one. I am also considerring special items stuff. What do you think? Should I keep the displays for just the DLC stuff or other big items in skyrim as well? Thing is the interior isn't very big for too much of that, but I'm sure theres a way to do it somehow. I am really glad you like it and hope it provides some good times :) Thanks for checking it out.
Thank you for the response. I think maybe you can place a teleport gate in the house.It can send player to a separate vault room ? In this room, we can display our collections,like the mask of dragon priest,miraak's equipment,those dark books (I do not know what's the book's name is. The books which mora gives us) or other special items.I hope it doesn't cause you any trouble. Of course that's just my suggestion.I really hope you can finish this mod in your own way. However, it's already a really perfect house now. I wish you a good luck for what you are doing. Thank you again for this perfect mod. I really enjoy it :)
New update has teleport spell. I had an idea that involves the mining area but need to find some good glass textures and experiment before I do. For now I'll be trying to set ysmirs keep up for hearthfires. If I succeed ill set it up at moras mushroom as well.
Looks interesting. I would echo the suggestions another commenter made; teleport spell and display areas, especially the display areas. I've been house shopping for a player home on Solstheim for a couple of years, tested a few, and haven't found one I like. As I'm gearing up for another full game, I hope this one works out for me. Any chance you would expand it a bit for children, maybe multiple adoptions, when you iron out the follower issues? If not, I'd probably still use it for my solo-type characters. Great job in any event!
I do plan to work on these things. Tell me what you think on display items, just DLC oriented? Or more? Like I said in the other post it is a small area. I even just had an idea to create a basement area as sort of underground cave utilizing the Eldergleam sanctuary kit, like your down in the roots of the mushroom like its a tree or something, lol, I dont know, tell me what you think. It will be a week or two before i could start maybe less. The children I will keep in mind as well if you like but first I wanted to do that for Ysmir's Keep and it looks to be a proccess. Just took a look around! Looks great! One question... On the alchemy dude, the note says to give the Spriggans a dagger. Does that mean just kill them, or do you literally give one of them some sort of dagger?
It's nothing literal just sort of a joke. Like he's going to give a Spriggan a dagger to kill the assistant but instead gets killed, lol. I like dumb bland humors at times so I couldn't resist a little "Well that didn't quite work out" moment.
