This mod contains only meshes and bodyslide data so it will not add anything into your game; it will only modify the base armor that already exists in your game. An .esm/.esp/.esl is required to add any armor into your game.
I personally use Zerofrost Ultimate Armor Collection by xdankitty915x, but any mod with the same file path will work as a base. All of xdankitty915x's versions should work (assuming it contains this armor) and from what I've seen, nearly every single Zerofrost armor mod on nexus uses the same file path.
You can preview file contents on nexus before downloading if you are unsure. As long as the file path is the same and all of the files names are the same, you should be good to use this mod.
Thanks for this. The static cape bugged the hell out of me when I discovered this armor set playing through Nolvus. Prior to this, I didn't know about this mod. It's strange because many of the cloaks, capes, and other cloth pieces from the many mods in this mod pack have physics. The Valkyrie Armor cape was one of the exceptions. The Nolvus team didn't bother to add your mod to their latest version despite it being released earlier this year.
is it possible to add wings to this mod? i remember the og creator saying he wanted to add wings with smp to this armor but then he ditched all of his mods and you made me fall in love with this mod again so is it possible to add wings with smp to this armor?
I checked the meshes folder and there are some meshes that haven't been converted into SSE format yet, so if optimizing them doesn't cause any issue, you should use CAO or NIF Optimizer. You should also do this for other Zerofrost's armors.
Anything that I haven't edited is not converted. The original mod wasn't optimized. The worn armor that you see in 3rd person is all converted for SSE though.
tatururutia has made SMP conversions for all Zerofrost armors on her Patreon, so it is great to see yours that are free. :D Both your and her work are outstanding.
I'll keep improving them over time. I am a bit of a perfectionist, but right now my goal is just to get most of the armors working well enough to share them.
I am not a fan of mods you have to pay for, or ones with strict permissions. I understand wanting to maintain control of development for some of the really big, game changing mods, but it still seems kinda hypocritical. We are all using Bethesda's assets to create these mods, yet some of these creators feel like they have the right to paywall or block access to the mods they created? I don't see any decent argument when it comes to mod creators keeping exclusive ownership of what they create, especially when they used someone else's free assets to create it.
