Does your merge work with BA Bard Songs, since you add some Tavern music?
I understand, if you do not want this to become too convoluted and focus on the music you want to use. So do with this list whatever you like :) I had to make that list anyways, if I wanted to swith to your one, so sharing it won't hurt I guess.
In that Music Mod Merge, sometimes I need to move files to different directories for installation. Probably to avoid conflicts. So if some tracks do not fit into your merge without requiring too much maintainance effort, leave them out :)
Great, can't wait to hear it. Love Sounds of Skyrim along with the others but a mod never combined this with other main music mods that I could find.
With CoT, I can test once SoS is added to see if it works fine or if they'll need a patch.
Don't use this myself but the other popular weather mod True Storms probably would be similar regarding compatibility. I guess the question is if weather sounds conflict at all with normal music in how they add and/or replace them.
Also can you add the functionality of this old mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/30568 for those of us who own the previous 2 ES games or make it importable in some way?
currently I am using Music Mods Merged SSE, since it has some very nice celtic/fantasy tracks. Howerver it does not seem like it adds more tracks to it and your one is actively maintained, so I consider swwitching.
I don't know if you are open for suggestions, but is there any chance you could add the Vindsvept music to your one? I love that one.
EDIT: I was browsing your list and I noticed, that you list "Glory Days", which also seems to contain some Vindsvept music. Maybe that's already good enough.
Oh, yeah. Celtic would be nice as well. Basically anything, which contains Vindsvept, or Adrian von Ziegler ;) I checked that music merge I posted above and I also have it in my list. I used it and the optional files as well as described here.
I did not check each ones I use with your list. Just notced, that you already include some of the ones I use.
So far I downloaded the merge with all the suggested mods and it's working as intended, thanks a lot! Which is the mod that adds the combat viking singing tracks? That's the only mod I wish to exclude. Could that affect the stability of the merge?
In the new update I removed some soundtracks, including Viking ones. But that’s probably not all, you can tell me when you heard this music (In battle; Skyrim, Solstheim, Cairn of souls, etc.; dungeon or space; Day, night, morning, evening: during exploration, in a city, in which region). And yes, disabling any mod will not affect stability in any way
It was during combat. I asked you because it doesn’t fit with the vibe I thought you were going for according to the description. I had with my previous merge another annoying Viking gutural singing during outside exploration, but I don’t think that’s the case for this mod.
Only the last 2 mods change the vanilla music, you don't necessarily need to install them. The others only add to it. Personally, I don't use glory days and sometimes I hear vanilla music. Just choose non-replace options.
So idk if its something i did but Glory Days seems to make music play in the wrong places? For example I'm hearing town music in dungeons lol if i disable enderal in the mod tab (not the plugins tab, im using vortex btw) it seems to fix it. I'm using the majority of suggested mods so its not a huge loss but i thought i should say something
Do you think it's all about the glory days? You need to indicate the exact location of the error. Just turn off everything related to music and test the glory days, if there are no errors, then it’s something else. If you are talking about enderal music, then you should delete its ESP and check if the bug is fixed. (just go to the place where you heard the wrong music and through quick saving and loading, listen to all the music you can) If the bug is fixed, through the method remove ESP then write to me, I will try to find and fix errors in my ESP.
turned everything music related off except glory days and it still plays town or exploration music :( this may be unrelated but gloy days is in loose file format so idk if that matters
Hmm. I don’t know, maybe this was intended, but the dungeon folder has music that is completely unsuitable for caves. You can delete everything from this folder. Also, if you liked the rest of the tracks from glory days, I recommend installing the replace version of some other mod and re-recording it with Glory days. Although first try deleting only the caves folder, if that doesn’t work, then delete everything. You can read on the Internet which folder is responsible for which music (or just determine by name), and delete it if you don’t like it
Is there a benefit to this compared to similar music mod merges? I read a very similar list to the old mod merge I have installed. If it's better optimized or something, then I'm interested.
Hmm... I don't think music can take away the fps.... If you have in mind the differences between Music Mods Merged SSE Edition, you should just look at the date of its last update. Oh, and even more than that, it doesn't have all the music mods that I have. Another advantage of mine is that you don't have to check every music mod, I did that for you (But of course there will be some soundtrack with poor quality or just off topic, but I'm trying to fix that).
What I need to know and it's probably the case since this mod is newer, is if it works better in terms of balanced volume or "compatibility". I was never pleased with the old music merge mod, so if this is an improvement in any way I'll switch to it.
Sorry, I haven't done this yet, this is only an alpha version. However, test it and tell me your opinion, I will be grateful. If you find any bad soundtrack during the game, try to describe it and when it appeared. You can also check my plugin for conflicts with yours in SSEEDIT and I will try to fix it if I can
My esp has all the addons from fomod. Replacer or non-replacer will not affect my esp in any way, only the files (probably). Personally, I use all the non-replacer addons from fomod.

My list will stay up forever and maybe grow the longer you wait ;P

I love that one.
And that one also sounds nice: Extreme Skyrim Music

Edit: also, formID D8A appears twice.
