Fixed the folder structure in 1.0.2, just extract in MO2's plugin directory and restart MO.

I just downloaded this, and carelessly put all files in Mo2\plugins :)
Fortunately there are only 2 files and one folder, so after copying them to Mo2\plugins\Mo2AudioPlayer
and  extracting the BmlFuzTools in the Tools folder, everything works perfectly.

    Thanks for this great tool!!

This has been resolved in 1.0.2, hence taking down the sticky.

Great job! I love that it can play .xwn smoothly unlike windows players! Endorsed!

Hi, Thanks for this wonderful utility.

I know this is technically posted in the Skyrim section, but i've been using it for Fallout 4. Everything works fine (XWM, WAV etc.) except for when i try a .fuz file, i get this error specifically:

    Conversion Failed
[WinError 87] The parameter is incorrect

I dont really know if there is a technical difference between Skyrim And Fallout 4 .fuz files so unsure if thats the difference?

    My OS version is Windows 10 & 11 with MO2 2.5.0

Apologies it seems to have started working now, Thanks!

I'm getting an error when trying to launch MO2 using the v1.4 file with version 2.4.3 of MO2.

failed to initialize plugin D:/Modding/Mod Organizer 2/plugins/__init__.py: Traceback (most recent call last):
File "D:/Modding/Mod Organizer 2/plugins/__init__.py", line 3, in <module> from .plugin import FuzPlayerPlugin # Always use relative import:
Import Error: attempted relative import with no known parent package

    Any idea what's going wrong?

EDIT: It's because I forgot to put it in its own sub-directory!

Looks like a very useful mod but I can't get it to work. Followed the instructions but I just get this error

Playback Failed: [WinError 2] The system cannot find the file specified

I'm guessing it's because I'm stuck with Windows 7 for the time being.

      Powershell using the $PSVersionTable command

      CLRVersion                     2.0.50727.8793
      BuildVersion                   6.1.7601.17514
      PSVersion                      2.0
      WSManStackVersion              2.0
      PSCompatibleVersions           {1.0, 2.0}
      SerializationVersion           1.1.0.1
      PSRemotingProtocolVersion      2.1.

      Tools folder contents
      BmlFuzDecode.exe
      BmlFuzEncode.exe
      BmlFuzTools_README.txt
      xWMAEncode.exe

      Plugin directory
      __Pycache_ folder
      tools folder
      _init_.py
      plugin.py

      Python proxy is enabled.

      Thanks.

Probably a powershell version issue, working on a solution that doesn't involve powershell.

Thanks for the quick response. I'll be getting a new PC in the next few weeks anyway (long overdue) so hopefully I'll have a more up to date system anyway.

Tried the updated version, get the exact same error message.

Now, every time I try to play a .fuz file it generates a new .lip file for that file.

if a lip file is getting generated then either BmlFuzDecode.exe is somehow failing or plugin not able to form proper path to temp directory, maybe due to Win 7, sorry I am out of options.

I've had several applications not work due to Windows 7. I'll try again in a few weeks once I've got my new PC up and running and let you know.

      Thanks.

I'm now on Windows 11. No error messages now, but the sound doesn't play, and it still generates a .lip file every time I try to play a .fuz.

It was very difficult to understand how to install this mod and it took me a very long time to figure it out.
Now it seems to be working correctly in my environment, but when I double click on it, there is no sound, I have to press the PLAY button to hear it.
I don't even know if this is correct.

And, The only files that could be played were wav files, xwm files and some of fuz files.
Is this a problem with this mod, as I usually use yakitori and have no problems.

This plugin will need to be updated for MO 2.5.0. Most likely this is mostly just differences in the PyQt5 and PyQt6 imports.
