It doesn't actually require USMP. It just follows the same minor edit that USMP has. You won't notice it. It's so trivial that I don't even remember what it was. It was some minor tweak that will not affect gameplay in any way. I just thought to copy the change because I know inevitably somebody was gonna complain that they checked this in xEdit and saw that my mod overwrites USMP's change or something.
Oh, thanks for bringing that to my attention. It's a mistake on my part. It technically doesn't need USMP but I must've accidentally forgotten to remove it as a master before I saved the mod. I'll fix it later.
Oh I'm silly. I forgot. If you don't want the USMP edit then you should download the 1.00 version. 1.10 is what requires USMP. It's a version I made because I myself use USMP.
Divines bless your kind heart! It made my Dragonborn feel so rude to see someone and just mentally assign them "Old People Race" as if that's different from Nord, Bosmer, etc. Like, you get over 70 (maybe 50 in Skyrim, lol) and now you aren't even man or mer? Thank you for finding a fix!
This mod will conflict with any mod that changes the old people race, and there are quite a few. In changing the name, you forward all the race records for the old people race reverting them back to vanilla. So while nobody else touches the actual name, that isn't true with the records that accompany it, and it is indeed changed by USSEP.
Good point. I can create a version or update with USSEP's changes.
If you or anybody else finds a mod that conflicts with this, let me know. So far USSEP and the USMP are the only ones in my entire mod list, which in hindsight I should've checked.
Many race mods will conflict. Most of the USMP patches are race record based. Probably about 60% of them. Since your mod only deals with the old people race, that will cut out almost all of them, including a good few race based mods. It will make it easy for you to create patches.
Like I said, if you see any particulars let me know. I've already checked amongst my own load order of hundreds including some mods that affect elders (like Modest Elderly, etc.), and no mods other than USSEP and USMP touch race records. Almost no mod that I know actually even touches the old people race.
Just as a reminder, we're not editing any of the playable races. Old people race is only playable with mods, so I imagine those mods may conflict. But I don't know any mods off the top of my head. So if you know any such mods, let me know so I can make patches.
The thing I love the most about Skyrim modding community is that there is always people that are annoyed by the same things as you are but actually have enough knowledge/time/patience to fix it and post the fix here on Nexus. Let's just hope this doesn't break anything, since editing race records is prone to cause issues.
It should be fine. Even USSEP edits the race records.
That said I forgot to check that initially and version 1.00 didn't take USSEP's edits. The new version 1.10 includes them now and also the other edits made by USMP.

Can I make one request? Would you mind uploading a version that does not require USMP? I use USSEP but not USMP. Thank you for considering.
I totally forgot that the 1.00 version existed.
