   This mod will have no additional support given that it works fine with male human head. If someone better at modding wants to tweak this mod feel free to do so. The permissions are open for everything (porting, changing slot used, adding support for other races, etc....).

   unfortunately it's using the same slot as my pirate hat that I'm wearing, so I can't use it together

      That was my biggest concern when the description said Circlet Slot. I was hoping it would use the eye/eyeglass slot. Still downloaded because it is such a good looking eyepatch!

      Sorry but I have no idea, I only tested it on human male. If someone wants to make changes feel free to do so, the permission is open.

      You could use Outfit Studio and make a mashup of the two then create a custom armor piece  or use xedit to change the equip slot.
