I do not make mods for others I only make mods for myself unless I make a deal with another modder to help develop my own mod. If there is a glitch I will fix it. Looking at these comments you would think that the person that uploaded this mod would answer questions about the mod, especially those where the person submitted the question is being polite. I can understand not wanting to deal with those that put the mod down but it's almost like he shouldn't have even enabled post if he's not going to answer anyone.
Someone created a mod called Teenage Voices https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/86895. I don't know how to use it but thought if you wanted to update this mod so that the teen's actually sound like teen's instead of kids. Totally up to you.
It always irked me that in the base game, ALL of the kids are roughly the same age, same height, etc. There are no infants, toddlers or adolescents. Teenagers should be helping in the fields or watching over the younger children, etc. And there is only one male and one female voice actor for ALL children. My son is learning to drive so I definitely miss the immersion of various ages. Also, orcs, felmer and foresworn apparently don't reproduce. I adopted six orphans because I am a pushover, and I used the SetScale console command to make them different sizes and ages. I look forwards to testing this mod out. Now if we could get those guards who took an arrow to the knee to limp at least a little! :)
Does this edit existing, canonically "teenaged" characters to appear like teenagers or just add new actors? From going through the files with xEdit it looks like just the latter.
Good concept just not what I was expecting. Was hoping to see Erik (the slayer) or Hroki or some of the other characters modified
This mod makes the children, Braith, Mila, Dorthe, Dagney,Frothar, Nelkir, etc. in the game become teenagers (16-18 years old is my guess). You can make the followers if you have the right mods and they will fight either with weapons or magic. However, they will still run around and act like children. I guess making them behave like teenagers isn't as easy as some may think.
I'm immensely pleased that someone FINALLY thought to make a mod like this. If I was tech savvy I would have done it myself a long time ago; it's nice to see toddlers and teenagers around Skyrim for once. I started playing Skyrim SE in 2014 and the fact that the children of Skyrim are the same age has always annoyed me. I'm a mother of 6 and our kids range from 9 to 18, so the idea of a land (albeit a fictional one) in which all children were apparently born at the same time is just mind-blowingly ridiculous and completely unrealistic. So kudos and many thanks to you, LegoManIAm94, for adding some variety to the children of Skyrim. Now I just need to find a mod that adds children and/or teens of the other races to the game as well...seriously, how cute would a young khajiit be? :-)

Edit; The reason I am asking really, is to see if this mod is compatible with TKAA which already modifies the vanilla children.
