Thank you so much for this, it feels like all of the Christmases!!! Totally downloaded because F*** Nazeem.... quick question, is this safe to use mid playthru?
Really cool mod! It works well. Even when I had someone else attack Nazeem. There is no bounty or anyone else attacking you. There is a pause of about half a second, then he resurrects exactly where he died.
I am wondering if there is a way to have him resurrect somewhere else. I liked the idea of having him come to life at his Chillfurrow Farm, then have him walk back to town, like the idea in the other mod, Nazeem - Glutton For Punishment (ZXCMods). Unfortunately, I can't get that mod to work.
Mainly I wanted a counter to keep track of how many times I frustration (with Skyrim) killed Nazeem. Resurrecting him at the spot where he died is the easiest solution. It would not be too hard to modify the script to move the resurrected Nazeem anywhere you wanted. The source for his papyrus script is included if you care to modify it. Glad you had fun with my silly little mod.
so if i were to sacrifice him on a certian shrine to boethia, does he revert back to being alive?
it's funny thinking of the paralal of this, but i think Nazeem got the same wish/curse granted as Olgeard Von Everic in the witcher 3, basically he's immortal, the player can kill him but he always comes back, but if this were the case it should change his whole personality altogether and make him a person who takes risks and becomes a ruthless bandit with a bandit gang, you know this could be possible with eleven labs tts to make these changes for his charactor, you could change his wifes dialogue as well to reflect his new persona.
I don't think Nazeem is a Follower, (but there is probably another mod that does that... or console commands). But in theory, Yes, if you did use Nazeem as the sacrifice, he'd die (completing that quest scripting) and then respawn a few seconds later.
If i spawn multiple nazeems with console commands and kill them do they all respawn ? I want an immortal nazeem army to test every war crime possible in Skyrim
In theory, yes. The script is placed on Actor base id, so each spawn should include the script and all would increment the same counter I would thing. Make a game save before trying it out, then let me know how it goes. You can then always load up the game save from before you spam-spawned Nazeem. lol
Added realism, humor. Love him or hate him, most people that play Skyrim can tell Nazeem apart from other NPCs in the game. So they did a good job (IMO) of giving him a unique personality. It's just that that personality is snooty and pompous, which makes most folk want to take out their gaming frustrations on poor Nazeem.
GREAT NOW I CAN DO MORE THAN OPEN HAND SLAP HIM WHEN I WALK BY. NOW I HAVE A MORE SUITABLE SUBJECT FOR MY EXTEMELY OVER POWERED UNRELENTING FORCE. I CAN SEE HOW LONG IT TAKES FOR HIM TO MAKE IT BACK TO WHITERUN JUST TO BE KICKED. :-)=
At some point I think everyone has wanted to slap/hit/attack/kill Nazeem. Skyrim is a game, and this mod lets you do whatever to Mr. pompous with no worries about breaking Quests or getting tossed in jail. The running death count is like a humorous bonus.
