I'm using all the mods you have for your grass cache, however I have Whiterun City of Walls installed - and the road leading up to the first gate where the stable is is covered in grass. Is this because you didnt have the mod when you cached the grass? If so how would I go about doing it myself for just that specific area?
EDIT: I figured it out. I didn't enable JK's Whiterun Outskirts when I ran Dyndolod.
Really appreciate you doing this. I could never get NGIO to work and this helped a ton. My game looks great and at 20 density the performance is also really good with ENB :)
You are not planing to upgrade your Skoglendi grass cache ? because you are now using JK Outskirt series, im using it too, but i use Skoglendi and your grass cache, i have some floating grass of course, nothing completly bad, but not realy nice.
Im looking for Skoglendi grass cache with JK mods, you have made the unfrozen grass cache with JKs, but not your Skoglendi grass cache, thats the reason why i asked if you upgrade your Skoglendi grass cache with JK Mods enabled ;)
Hi sir just wanted to say thank you for this. I used your mod for grass lod generation in DynDOLOD, and effect is stunning (and FPS dropping, but totally worth of it).
open up Xedit, go to your seasonal landscape and unfroze esp, copy every grass record to a new esp (name it grass bound.esp).
open up CK, set grass bound.esp as active plugin, go to "grass", highlight the grass record from top to bottom, right click and "recalc bound", save the esp, and you're done
Hello leostevano, I'm attempting to generate my own grass cache with seasonal landscapes unfrozen. However I get CTD every time I try to load world space in game version 1.5.97 with unfrozen enabled. I've removed every mod except it and the dependencies and still CTD whenever attempting to load into any world space. I've also tried downloading old versions of the mod and dependencies. Still no. It works fine in 1.6.640, but I can't generate grass cache in that version. How did you generate grass cache when the only way is in 1.5.97, but seasonal landscapes unfrozen does not work in that game version?
I have a second MO2 profile with the downgraded version of skyrim, so whenever I need to generate a grass cache I just switch to that profile. Once I'm done I only need to verify my game files on steam. Use Crash Logger and Crash Logger Analyzer to see what caused the crash.
Thanks, CLA makes things way easier! Apparently I had forgot to downgrade power of 3 tweaks to 1.5.97 lolol! Man that took way too much time to figure out!!! Thanks for the new crash logger!
Hey, would it be possible to add a optional file with every mod you listed but the Arthmoor's Town Series? This mod is exactly what I've been looking for. :o
Hi, that wouldn't be possible because the grass position is already cached. But you can still use this cache even if you don't have the Arthmoor series. I list them as requirements only for consistency.
Its hard to say, you'd have to check it yourself. Activate this cache in your load order with grass cache helper NG and check the towns. I suspect the place that would be the most affected is Rorikstead. If you like it then you can generate the grass LOD with Dyndolod.

Just wondering if i have installed it ocrrectly. I can see there are spaces further afield that do not have grass.
I followed the instructions, using the correct mods using the tools etc.

Just so you are aware i have used other cache grass before, and it seems work - but never for seasonal landscapes
