Console is less convenient. You need to look up ids on UESP and also to launch SSEEdit to look up plugin ids for the first 2 hex digits. That's the reason for this mod - fast and easily accessible and also renewable supply of alchemic ingredients.
Never thought of something like this before but I think it *kinda* makes sense for someone in White Run, the center of Skyrim to have a lot of stuff like this. Maybe the Jarl's court mage might make more sense but Arcadia is certainly just as quick and easy to get to.

why stock her up with 1000 of each - sure that's convenient,
but then you never have to seek anywhere else for stuff, she is your 1-stop-shop for every alchemy component you need,
thus... again.. why not just use the command console,
