    But the whole mod... Nope.

Great mod for a tough part of skyrim to do a good players home.  For me, with a few more features perhaps in an update it would be up there with "better Hjerim mod" that includes garden and pool.  You could have these features in a "basement".  I rank this next to this mod tho even with it lacking those features because Better Hjerim is buggy for me where it says it has those features but they dont show up for me. The outside of the house doesnt change for me even with a new game start.  So with those features not showing up for me in Better Hjerim, this mod is equal but could take number one spot by far if you were to include these features! I love the "warm" feeling your design gives and I appreciate the no npc autostrip option.  Some of those autostrips a so buggy. They will strip you of your clothes but dont put them back on which is a pain. I'll find myself running around Skyrim naked until someone comments!

How'd you manage to do it?  I can't do it via SSEEdit or Wrye.

I very much appreciate that you have taken the time to give me this answer.  What I meant was that even after compacting it with the Creation Kit, the file doesn't become ESLfiable in Wrye and when I try SSEEdit, it tells me that it can't be done with this file.  I get "this file contains too many new records for this operation", unfortunately.  :(

I swear there used to be a patch for this and JK's Skyrim, but I cant find it anywhere on this page, or the JK's Skyrim page. Am I imagining things?  Does this patch not exist?

OMG.. I've been looking for a base in Windhelm for soooooo long, & this is PERFECT.
Pillows and a hot tub....Bliss after a hard days exploring .
No more unrolling a sleeping bag on the cold hard floor or having to deal with drunk, rowdy revelry at the inn.
Thank you for all your hard work, It's very much appreciated.

This is an awesome house you've made here.
Not only is it nice to get a faction neutral home in Windhelm that you actually want to live in, but Warmstone looks like it was supposed to be there all along (which is something I look at when I get house mods).  I love how homey and welcoming this house feels but, what makes it work most (for me at least), is how it works with the market stalls in front of it.  Just like IRL, you'll have merchant stalls set up under balconies to provide better cover and shelter for both merchant, product and buyers alike.
    Thanks for this.

    Hello
Downloaded this finally for a look see, lolo I'be been thru soo many home and used to a lot of things being static,. mostly decoration wise,. I'd forgotten how much a clutz my character is with non static things and sent a lot of things flying >< heh...
You must be using an enb of sorts , its a little darker in my game ( new game start ) but thats still fine, wanted to ask tho, what's the difference between hostel; and bachelor , the bedding for followers ? ...
Not sure I'll stay, but need to still have a proper look around loved teh back story small quest to get key , found both bodies n cleared wrecked ship while I was there...
The auto strip only removes player clothes you have to put them back on manually , minor thing tho..
love homes with hot looking baths so we'll see very nice work, thank you
    Endorsed Tracking Kudo'd ...

I wanted to try this in Oldrim but had a full load order. I'm so pleased to try it now and it is a superb home. The search for the fishing party makes a nice story (I found the two men). It works perfectly and looks lovely. My only surprise is the brazier on the middle floor (with the kettle on it) is billowing flames out everywhere and showers sparks through the ceiling. Of course, nothing can catch fire in Skyrim as such but it looks like it is set up as a fire rather than glowing coals. Made me chuckle!

Thank you very much for this great home - endorsed of course.

If you plan to work on it in the future, a storyline might be re-opening it as a tavern and you get to earn the profits?

I'll see what I could do to fix the sputtering flames.

It's nothing that spoils the mod: https://ibb.co/ifd8av
      It made me smile!

I don't see it happening in your mod photos, so it might be something affecting it in my game. I'll go and check...

Nah, I was then using a mod which changed the fires for ENB, so what appears to be a quiet fire in my screenshots is actually a roaring fire-belcher without the mod.

What a great home this is. So many excellent touches. I love the backstory with the notes at the desk - the letter to Brunwulf actually makes me feel sad the owner met his end. I'm not a fan of one big overly-crowded home - I usually go for many smaller homes - so this is just perfect. Thanks so much for the work you put into this. I'm only sorry I didn't find it sooner!

Now that JK Skyrim is out, has anyone tested the old patch file from LE to see if it works with Warmstone? Please post your success/failure stories. Thanks!

ETA: So I did a quick hatchet job with the new JK Skyrim (have to remove an awning, a shop stand and a few barrels) with the old Warmstone Hostel version for JK Skyrim. It indeed works. The only issues I saw where some floating wheels of cheese behind the main counter and other havok issues, but otherwise works well.

Be nice to see a formal version for JK Skyrim with patch. But until then, it works with a little elbow grease on your part.
