Good I found this mod, because "mors feminine females" makes my game crash on startup and idk why.
And searching a while I found the "female npc uses female animation" and the uploader recommended this one. So hopefully this one works, because it's so annoying after adding all these fem animations certain recruitable npcs go vanilla male.
Hello, my female follower (Jenassa) stands with her arms a little apart like a hulking man. With this it got fixed but every time she stops moving, she goes into hulking man stance then into female stance.
This is most certainly not caused by this mod as it removes the opposite gender animation flag on game launch. Everything that happens during the game is caused by other mods. Are you using DAR/OAR movesets?
Just grabbed Jenassa for the first time and years. When I last left her she was feminine (I was using an esp to eliminate all opposite flags) and now she's walking like she had a corn cob stuffed up her rectum. plugin is working fine for all other femmes in my game, has anyone figured why this is happening
How could I get this to work for a custom race? It works well for vanilla orcs but when trying it with an orc from COTR (Charmers of the Reach), I get the masculine animations. Perhaps an inclusion ini?
Still having some male npcs go into female idles during dialogue; which is the main reason I downloaded this. Very frustrating. Reinstalling again to try and fix it since I can't find anything else addressing this problem. For any queer theorists who wanna beef with me about this: It doesn't make sense for the majority of male characters. Just like in real life.
For those who are against this style of mod due to modern societal reasons: It is crazy to me to say that a women Must look manly while walking to Look like a warrior. This is bs and it implies that feminine women cannot fight or intimidate. So yeah I'm a fan of this as I want my warrior female friends to not walk like a stereotypical manly man to validate their strength. Plenty of athletically looking women have very feminine personalities and I am still intimidated by their athletic skills. The idea that strong women can't be "hot" or that hot women can't be intimidating in a battle is beyond sexist. If you disagree with me, that is fine. This is my opinion and it is subjective and all are entitled to their own opinions. If u don't believe in feminism or gender equality, oh well... Good luck continuing that way on a world that increasingly changes away from these old values. People change, times change, the world changes, if u stuck to the past you'll be more and more like in an alien world. Tolerate the different doesn't mean agree or endorse, u can disagree with someone's life style while respecting their own decisions on their own lives and just move on with yours. Live and let live after all...
Love it! Agree 100 percent! Also objectively the male animations just look stupid on the female frames. They are holding their arms a mile from their body even when standing still. If it was scaled down (75% female stance, 25% male) to where their arms just missed their bulky armor and sword it would be one thing but Lydia with full gear still is holding her arms 4 or 5 inches away from her body for no reason. It looks incredibly uncomfortable and I love the gorilla references people use. To me it looks like a child walking around pretending like they are a gorilla. The fact people can find offense at people wanting that gone from their game is laughable.
Very happy to find this mod. Last one I found was Lydia only and it was one of the dozens of mods that actually changed the least attractive/immersive part of Lydia. Now I can use whatever replacer mod I want (or none at all) and still enjoy the immersion of Bethesdas vaguely "human like" npcs!
Because Bethesda's original uses of the Opposite Gender Animations NPC record flag often makes no sense in context when using replacers that aren't similar at all to the vanilla character designs...
The point is that what Bethesda was trying to do with this feature in the first place was rather poorly realized as a concept, basically.
Because Bethesda's animations for male npcs look janky af when applied to female npcs. Next time you go outside, see if you see any woman, even a very muscular woman, who walks around with the posture of an annoyed gorilla.
to be fair, I think the male animations are a bit poor in general, cause I don't see many men walk like constipated gorillas either. dunno why people are acting like this mod is political at all in the first place, the animations just look a bit bad to some people.
