    FAQ

    1. To make the home Hearthfire compatible, locate the tool box on a shelf in the smithing room. Upon activating this tool box a message box should pop up asking if you'd like to activate the features required for the Hearthfire Multiple Adoptions mod. Select "Yes" to activate the features or "No" to do nothing.

Once you have activated the Hearthfire options,  cast the "Bless Home" spell you receive from the Hearthfire Multiple Adoptions mod. You should receive a message in the upper left corner showing 2.000 beds found. If you see this message it means the house is now ready for your family.

If you want to deactivate those features the same process applies, except selecting "Yes" will deactivate the features.

    2. The fireplace in the main room is toggle-able. Simply interact with the bellows sitting on the fireplace to turn the fire on or off. NOTE: The billows can be moved whether by accident or design, but will function regardless of where it is. Which makes it sort of like a remote control for the fireplace. This was not intentional, but there it is.

    3. Followers will not sandbox into the basement on their own. If you want your followers to spend the night in their own rooms, you'll have to take them down there yourself and tell them to sandbox down there.

Perfect house mod!! Love the front patio and view. It blends well with the Aurora Village SE mod. It located just next to it. At least me and my children are not alone near the lake plus the Falkreath forest behind. I also put other addon village mods like Oakwood, Oars Rest, Millwater Retreat and Clefj's Half Moon Mill SE to make the Ilinalta Lake merrier.

I'm glad to hear you're interested in my mod, unfortunately mods can't be ported from SE to LE. I'd have to remake the mod from scratch for LE and I'm not sure I have the time for that.

So, I love the house, but when i returned, all of the containers except for chests appear to have reset their inventory? any way i could fix this?

I responded to your bug report, but I'll reply here as well.

After testing the mod I discovered that there were several containers both in the house and around the exterior that were not safe containers. Looking in the CK confirmed this.

I've released ver. 2.2 of the mod that should correct the spawning issue with those specific containers. However, I'm a little confused when you say that "all" of the containers except for the chests respawned as my testing and the CK details do not indicate that this would occur. Please install ver. 2.2 and let me know if the problem persists.

    This house is fantastic!

Unfortunately the button isn't working for me. It's my first time downloading this mod (NonRLO version) and even though I spent five minutes "blessing this home" over and over to no avail I am still going to endorse it because it's such a fantastic, lore-friendly home.

BTW I love the backstory you had given the owner of the manor!

Well I'm glad to hear you are enjoying the mod. I believe I know the problem with the button not working and I'm currently in the process of fixing the issue and making some other adjustments as well. So keep an eye out for an update in the, hopefully, not too distant future.

I like the house a lot. It could use maybe 4-6 kids beds total, but otherwise, it's the size I like and everything works. The one thing I never figured out was how to get the key. I have been using the console to give myself a key, but I suppose I should find it properly one of these times. Endorsed!

Update: I just switched from ENB to Reshade, and the interior is rather dark. ENB had an interior ambient lighting control, but reshade doesn't. It might not look dark to other people, I don't know. If you could add a light level control, that would be awesome.

To find the key I suggest reading the note that was pinned to the post outside of the house (It may have fallen on the ground). There you'll find out where the previous owner went. He has the key. If you can't find that note, there is another one outside the inn in Falkreath, though it too may have fallen on the ground. I never did figure out a way to keep them in place.

Out of curiosity, which version of the mod are you using? The RLO version or the vanilla? I'm going to be doing some further updates to the mod in the near future, I'll see what I can do about the lighting, but I'm not going to make any promises. As for the beds, I stuck with two as that was my personal preference, but I understand some people like having big families. I'll keep that in mind during the next update. Again though, no promises.

Thanks for considering my requests. I'm using the RLO version. I probably should have paid closer attention. I just downloaded the top one. Also, I am using ELFX--only the basic one.

The new house mod will be for sale, yes. Well it'll require you to make a "donation" to the Temple of Mara, but it'll basically be the same as you buying it. As for ISM, I probably will be releasing another update for it - to address the button issue people seem to be having as well as a few other minor changes - but unless someone can give me specific lighting tips, I don't plan on changing the lighting or the process of attaining the house.

Hello again sir... sorry for disturbing you but is there a way that Ivy Shores Manor or your new House mod will be for sale? rather than finding the keys? and any possibility to make the interior lights brighter again? some spots especially corners tend to have dimmer feeling. .. sorry for being picky. .

I love the “donation to the temple” way of having a home, its so unique
As for the lighting, maybe like dragonsreach? Especially Farengar’s office’s lighting?

Sorry for reqeusting too much. . .
Anyways, for me the manor is already the best vanilla style home mod here and i cant wait for your second home. Too excited and wondering what will be its new feature? Porch? Pool?

Well you won't have to wait too long, the new mod is 99% finished. Just trying to sort out some minor bugs. Biggest feature for the new home will be its customization. You'll "buy" the home and it'll be a simple, two-room farmhouse. From there you can craft upgrades that will expand the home, add a guest house for followers, make the home hearthfire friendly, and add an underground spring where you and your followers can relax. Basically I'm using the mod as a way to learn mechanics that I was hesitant to use in ISM.

CyranGE wrote: Is it possible if I request a relocation of the home? The current location is great and very lore friendly, but sometimes I find it lonely living there especially at night when its misty near Whiterun or Dragonbridge are a good location in my opinion

KiokothePirate wrote: That would require quite a bit of work. I'd essentially have to make a new mod. So I'm afraid I have no desire to relocate the house, but perhaps in the future I'll make a home located in one of those locations. Dragon's Bridge does sound like an interesting place to build. Right now I'm finalizing a home near Riften (It's a little out of the way, just like Ivy Shores Manor), but after that is finished perhaps I'll work on something else.

Wowwwwww!! Another home like Ivy Shores Manor will be a great addition!!! Specially in near Riften!!! Cant wait to see it!!! Goodluck!!

Well it's not "just like Ivy Shores Manor" in terms of design, but like it in that it's not right in a city or just outside the walls. It is closer to Riften than Ivy Shores is to Falkreath though.
