zeknapain has released a new version of this mod complete with a FOMOD installer and no issues. You can find it here: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/43748?tab=description Thanks!
I uploaded it first on Beth.net and uploaded that PC version here.
Currently i can't get the coloured gems to work ( propably a special edition mesh/texture format issue ). If anyone can help i will also make a FOMOD version with the different colours. Till then no coloured stones unfortunately.
Edit : Tarshana has found a way to make them work. It's been a long time but i will update the mod eventually with them added. Thank you Tarshana , give her some kudos : http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/users/9100504/?
It may take a long time though as i have a lot happening currently. If you know what to do download these files : http://www.mediafire.com/file/3odj4id7li7q4ca/AOI+Fix.rar
Edit 2: Finally got around and actually uploaded the gem fix. It is found under the files tab marked as version 1.2.1 Don't forget to download 1.1 as well and of course the main download!
Edit 3: Thanks RWFoss for the heads up regarding the bodyslots of the insignias (kudos: https://www.nexusmods.com/users/7584984). Hope everything is good now! The latest version is 1.2.2 (requires the aforementioned downloads).
This mod (or the original armor) has accompanied almost every run of Skyrim I ever did. I am currently playing Oblivion Remastered and I would LOVE to be able to don this set once again. Would you do a port of this to Remastered ? Cheers
So far, yeah. Both version of this mod in fact. I've seen inexplicable game crashes after installing this, but I'm not convinced it's the result of the Intrigue Armor mod.
I'm using the "SE Updated" version as given below, but I thought it may be helpful to post this here as well. I cannot get the gear the show up in the menus. I have 100 Smithing and have the Adamant Perk Overhaul, so while the perks may be different, I've definitely gotten the steel smithing perk as I know I can make steel armor/weapons. I also have Guards Armor Replacer, Immersive Armors, and MorrowLoot installed, which may or may not be causing the issue; I don't know. I really want this armor but everything I've tried thus far (such as re-sorting with LOOT, disabling the aforementioned mods, meeting mod requirements, etc.), and have no luck. Unless I have to start a new game to get it to work, I'm out of options and I'd really like this armor in my game, so please somebody lend me a hand if they can. I'm relatively new to modding, so it may just be a simple mistake.
I am very sorry to hear this. Are you sure the .esp is checked? Also i am not sure how perk overhauls affect mods like this. The armor mods you mentioned should not cause issues.
So, finding this late, and now seeing an updated version after downloading this, still this is a great array of armor. The variety and forced choices between some pieces is well formulated.
Why is it the cool armors are always male only...This looks so neat but I can never use it with my female character. The only dark assassin/thief armors I can find for females are all impractical bikinis.
Yeah i feel you. It's been a while since i modded Skyrim but there are good armors in the theme you mentioned. Just takes time to go through all the bikinis.
I think people are missing the fact that while there are more female than male armors, the female armor moda are 80% of utter garbage. It seems a lot of modders are just incredibly horny trying their hardest to have something to stare at when playing, and utterly incapable of creating an armor set that doesn't have a nonsensical boob-shaped breastplate and/or has huge sections of skin showing and vital organs exposed. Meanwhile, male armors tend to be much less sexist (there, I said it, get mad) and much more badass. There are a couple of gems in the female armor section, though. Just gotta look hard enough...
Just wanted to say that Thanks SO MUCH for this incredible mod, and for making it work with lizards! There's so many amazing tiny details that can help a player carryout out any character backstory/RP they desire - from flower picker to pocket picker, you've got it covered! Thanks again! Merry Christmas and have a Happy New Year!
Mod doesn't work for me. Was looking for stuff for a Witcher-themed build, thought this armor looked nice enough. Got the Steel Smithing perk, and it wouldn't show up in the crafting lists. Used Console Commands to level Smithing to 100 and spent up to Daedric/Dragonbone. Still no armor.
I can only assume that its ID is being overwritten by some other mod like Immersive Armors, or maybe it doesn't like Ordinator or Ars Metallica. What a shame.
Hm try the console command help "intrigue" (with the "). It should show you the ID of every item from the mod. Then in the console type player.additem xx y (xx=the id from the previous command, y=the amount you want) to add it to your inventory.
Edit 30/4/2020: I see you haven't downloaded this mod, maybe that's the case because you forgot? Or a bug on the Nexus' end
"All of the armor pieces is listed with "AOI" in the name so you have to use that for console commands. "Intrigue" won't work."
THANK YOU.
Man this was frustrating. I tried a bunch of key words and nothing appeared. Ultimately I just downloaded another armor mod and now my character kinda has "the look" I want, so I removed this one. But it's good to know I can find it via console again if I come up with a char idea where this armor will work.
Calling it "Armor of Intrigue" but then not having that word in your search pattern is rather silly.
This mod bugs some textures. I went to whiterun and half of the floor was unrendered. Restarted the game. Same thing. Then uninstalled the mod, and the floor is fine again. I don't have any mod that alters textures, or any graphical mods except for Obsidian Weathers. There's no way it could be clashing with another mod. Has to be this mod. Might want to look into that

just to be sure... Compatibility with Skyrim AE ? I suppose it's ok but if someone can confirm it, thanks by advance :)
sorry for the really late reply

*nevermind, it's just a green retex version...
